I booked a Tiguan but got a Lynk & Co 01 hybrid at pickup. The battery was mostly empty so I used it as a regular car. The exterior was fine, but the internal cleaning was average. The car had good power. Most highways in Italy have a speed limit of 110-130 km/h. The car's condition was average, with maintenance notifications and low antifreeze levels, which I topped up. Adding insurance at the store made everything go smoothly.

I chose Rental Plus because it had good ratings, and the actual experience was indeed excellent. You can choose it with confidence. The pickup process was fast, there was no hard sell on insurance, and the staff were polite and friendly. The car return inspection was very relaxed, and the pre-authorization was released about a week later.

AVOID! my family and I arrived 1 hour earlier, and we informed RentSmart24 before. When we arrived to the shuttle pick up location, every time the shuttle driver told us to wait for the next shuttle. We called RentSmart24 few times, and they said that a shuttle will pick us in a few minutes. That whole thing took more than 1 hour! When we arrived it was late, after our expected car pick up time, there was one family before us, and since there is only one person in the reception, we were waiting another 30 minutes. Finally, getting the car! But wait, we booked 2 seats for 2 years old children so they took us to a kind of garage with 8 seats that none of them is good for this age, either 6 years+ or 1 year-. It was almost 12 am, we had to choose 2 seats and risking our kids! Thinking we were finished this whole nightmare, the reception guy don’t know how to install the seats, we need to do it by ourselves! Awful experience, the worst I’ve ever had with a car renting

I highly do not recommend this company. First, there was no shuttle bus at the airport. Most likely, you will need to take a taxi to the rental location, which takes about 10 minutes and costs 15 euros. Secondly, the prices quoted on-site were completely different from the booked prices. The staff will try to persuade you to rent at a higher price and buy insurance through bargaining. Just firmly say no in such situations. I ended up with two reservations by mistake, so one of them was refunded later without issue, but the refund on the day was very troublesome.

O carro era otimo, nos atendeu muito bem. Mas nao gostei da cobrança em valor alto no meu cartao de credito no ato da locacao. Na semana anterior, alugamos pela QEEQ tambem, pela Budget, que opera com a Avis, e a cobrança foi muito menor que com a Dolar-Hertz. Outra questao quem com a Dolar-Hertz, o seguro AXA- QEEQ só funciona por reembolso, ou seja, voce precisa pagar qualquer extra e depois negociar com o seguro. Já com a Budget- Dolar nao, o seguro AXA-QEEQ cobre os extras automaticamente. Tivemos nosso voo partindo de Malpensa cancelado e tivemos que mudar o ponto de devolução do carro para Bergamo. Ligamos para a Hertz- Dolar em Malpensa que nos informou que nao poderia fazer a mudança! Fui num balcão da Hertz-Dolar em Verona e felizmente a alteração pode ser feita sem custo extra e facilmente. Mas foi um stress com o atendimento pelo telefone. Por fim, na devolução do carro em Bergamo, o funcionario recebeu o carro mas nao deixou 100% claro se estava rudo OK sem extras. Resumindo, nao pretendo alugar novamente pela Dolar- Hertz, e recomendo a Budget- Avis.

We were in the waiting line 1.5 hours late. We waited another hour before we were called to the counter. The lady at the counter said "we were over 2 hours late and hence they gave our car away". She then started offering us a different car for 300 euros more. I explained our reason being late which was not in our control. The lady said we don't have any other options. I then asked for a smaller car which she was able to give us for the same cost. I asked if the cost could be reduced since I am getting the same car and the answer was no. Overall, it was quite good. The drop-off process was efficient, with no damage or accidents. They upgraded me from a Peugeot 208 to a Citroën C3 manual diesel. The car had over 80,000 kilometers on it. I had to add AdBlue myself, costing over 16 euros. QEEQ mentioned I could get reimbursed from the rental company, but I threw away the receipt. Sisilybycar doesn't charge extra for cross-country trips, which is great!

The car I actually received was in terrible condition! The left side mirror was covered in tape and looked ready to fall off, and there were several scratches on the body. Though they did point these out when I picked up the car and told me to take pictures, they still charged me 500 euros for dents that were barely visible unless you looked closely when I returned the car! Unjustified charges: 1. When returning the car, no inspection was performed. Instead, they asked if we were going back to Rome or taking a flight, then simply said 'ok.' It's not acceptable to claim they were busy and let customers leave first, as we saw three employees leisurely smoking. 2. There is concrete evidence that the staff lied. We had just filled up the tank a few kilometers from the airport, but they charged us 15 EUR for an 'empty tank' after we left. 3. They fabricated car damage. No accidents occurred during our rental, and the damage was not confirmed with us on the spot, yet they charged us 291.69 and 67.2 EUR. 4. If this is an issue of individual employee integrity, then failing to thoroughly investigate and reasonably explain to customers is a problem with Avis as a company.

Avoid this rental company, they are a scam and overcharge severely. The contract listed 11 damages on the car when we received it, and after inspection, we added 6 more. When returning the car, the staff made a fuss over a tiny pea-sized scratch on the bottom of the car and asked if I had a photo. Who takes pictures of the bottom of the car? They then claimed it was new damage caused by me and charged me 150 euros. Complained to the rental platform and the rental company, thank you.

First of all, we got Fiat instead of Opel. But the worst thing was happened at the end. We dropped off the car and were told that was a damage, actyally itvwas some slight attrision on the bumper. We are definetly not involved in its appearence - may be it was not be marked, since it does not look like damage. However we were charged. Now we are trying to get the compencation since we have the ensurence. Meanwile the answer that we got from QEEQ was not relevant to our request. Another unpkeasant thing: we payed in advance for the gps, but at the drop of we were cgarged again for tge gps.

Very satisfied. They don't forcefully upsell additional services and provide friendly reminders and introductions, which we should understand and respect as part of their job. We received a vehicle of the same class, showing nearly 100,000 kilometers, with an old interior, but the driving performance was quite good except for insufficient power on slopes. We chose to return the car at Florence Airport, and objectively speaking, the service there was better — the staff were sincere and enthusiastic. Of course, all good and bad experiences are mutual, and I believe they also felt the same sincerity and enthusiasm from us.

They were incredibly meticulous about damages. There was a very small scratch on the front fender, and they documented it and reported it to the manager for a fee. I recorded a video when picking up the car, but I didn't notice that spot and skipped over it. I couldn't find the store at the airport because the rental company didn't even go by that name. This ultimately wasted 3 hours of my time. They then told me they would switch my booking to another company and refund the difference, but the difference was never refunded. They also said I was forced to buy some kind of pandemic insurance. This situation is clearly the rental platform's fault as they didn't verify properly, leaving the consumer to bear the responsibility. It's been two months, and I'm still waiting for my money back. This is truly disgusting. I hope you go bankrupt soon, and I hope you encounter someone harsher than me so you suffer immensely. This whole company is shameless.

The car rental company requires a €480 insurance fee for cross-border rentals, which was not communicated by the platform in advance. The platform also sold its own insurance. The additional insurance cost more than the rental itself. Customer service couldn't resolve any issues. Whether the platform is malicious or simply less competent and responsible, as a platform, it should at least have clear information from the rental company. Leaving customers to deal with the rental company's unilateral demands abroad is unacceptable. I will avoid using it in the future as much as possible.

Extremely poor experience, the worst I've ever had with a car rental. Be warned and avoid at all costs! 1. Couldn't find the store at the airport, the pickup instructions were vague and inaccurate. SurPrice deliberately didn't answer calls and didn't send pickup service (later said answering calls wasn't their job, how are we supposed to contact you for pickup then, telepathy?). Even QEEQ couldn't reach them. We wasted over an hour trying to contact SurPrice's local headquarters, and eventually a car showed up to take us to the store. 2. When we arrived at the store, they took a €1200 deposit, and when we went to pick up the car, they hadn't prepared the Jeep Compass SUV or an equivalent vehicle that we reserved. They tried to pass off a small blue Fiat 500x as an equivalent, but its trunk was too small for our luggage. They claimed it was the only automatic car available and offered no alternatives. The Italian woman at the counter had a terrible attitude. This was the worst car rental experience of my life. 3. Tried calling QEEQ customer service on-site, but they couldn't resolve it either. Their suggestion was to take the car and try to swap it later, a ridiculous idea since our luggage wouldn't fit in the car. How were we supposed to drive it away? 4. We had to cancel the reservation, find another rental at the airport, spend more money, and wasted over five hours before we could leave the airport. It was midnight by the time we left, absolutely exhausting and frustrating start to our trip. 5. This happened on June 17th and by July 5th I still haven't received a refund. No updates from them, only after I called did they quickly email saying they were processing the refund. The €1200 deposit from the store hasn’t been refunded either. It's like dealing with scammers. Please be cautious renting through QEEQ, and avoid this local car rental company called SurPrice. They are still listed despite serious complaints, continuing to harm consumers. Their airport store is particularly dreadful and could ruin your trip right from the start. I still haven't gotten back over 10,000 RMB and have no idea when I will. I’m not even asking for compensation, just my money back, and it’s been a nightmare. Physically and mentally draining, I'm really unlucky to have gone through this.

They could ruin your entire trip! I'm still waiting for my over 10,000 RMB to be refunded, no idea when this will be resolved. Ecovia staff is always helpful and friendly, this time the rental office was kind of difficult to find and I had to wait about 10-15 mins together with another client as the desk was unmanned. In any case, I’ll be happy to rent with them again.

Staff at the counter keep pestering us to buy insurance and sounds confirmed the car will get stolen so must buy insurance from them so they won’t hold our deposit . I told them we brought and he insist ours is not covered , must buy theirs .

We reserved a Audi A3 but got a Mini Cooper( same class according to the car rental angency but we prefer an Audi A3, no big deal though), the car was absolutely disgusting and we're too busy learning everything about the car before drive away from their Rome airport garage that we forgot to check the fuel level, a few minute after we checked out from the garage we saw that the fuel was only half but the paper stated it was full so we had to return to the garage and ask the staff, he wrote sth casually on the paper and walked away with zero interest in listening to our complain about the dirty car. When we returned the car in Ancona the guy there told us that's what happens at their Rome airport branch quite often, guess they're either understaffed or just have no desire keeping their customer! Btw on my confirmation with EasyRentCars it states clearly that the price quote includes one-way-return but when we picked up the car Maggiore still added a charge we can't remember why but we never buy any add-ons when rent cars, one driver/deny all insurance coz our credit card covers it/same fuel level/no gps needed....we needed nothing extra, now Amex is investigating the extra charge for us.

I felt this Tiburtina location was a little more shady than the other one in Roma Termini. The employee told me he was going to give me a White Fiat 500, but then he gave a Blue Fiat Panda (which is a bigger car with less category) so he can charge me extra.

The front desk staff was aggressive with us, telling us we needed to spend an additional 237 euros and that Easyrentcars did something illegal by renting us one of Goldcar/Rhodium's vehicles. She tried to sell me things that were already covered in my Easyrentcars contract and kept us at the desk for over an hour. She demanded a copy of the contract and continued to tell us this was illegal. I refused to pay the additional fee, which infuriated her, but she finally gave me the keys. The vehicle had damage on it that was not indicated on the initial document, so they re-did it and gave me another. I took pictures just in case they gave me a hard time when I returned it. When I returned the car, I had no problem at all.

The service of counter and garage staff was courteous and efficient. My only complaint was with the vehicle. I reserved a Fiat Panda or equivalent. Unfortunately Firefly didn’t have any cars in that class and they tried to give me a much larger car, which was definitely not useful to me. We compromised on a Fiat Cubo, which has to be one of the worst designed vehicles ever. Because of the front dash construction, with the seat pulled up to accommodate a smaller woman, I could barely fit my leg underneath in order to reach the clutch with my foot. It was virtually impossible to find a comfortable seat position. The vehicle was too heavy and did not handle well , and the clutch was not at all smooth to operate. All in all, I would never take this model again on a future rental. They should remove it from their fleet.

Car was very dirty. Tank not full. Pickup in Rome was rushed. Staff were rude. Long wait. Unable to check car condition properly due to poor lighting and dirty condition of the car. When car was returned they hit me up for damages which may have been pre-existing. Unsure as the damage was camouflaged by the poor and dirty condition of the car. Very stressful experience all round! Charged an exorbitant excess for what looks to be very minor damage. Felt ripped-off!

I booked a 7 seater car as I had 6 people in our party. I was given a long wheel base 9 seater mini bus. As soon as I drove it it was clear that the brakes needed repairing. I went straight back into the office but the representative had gone and closed up. I phoned the next day but no answer and finally got through the following day and returned the vehicle, not for a 7 seater as booked but another large minbus. Where we were staying in Rome this was a real problem as we couldnt get the van on the driveway. Please, if someone books a people carrier can you not give them a large bus which struggles to park or get down very narrow lanes. Thank you

This is a fraudulent company. All legitimate car rental companies in Rome are located close to the airport. This company has no signage, just a small nameplate, and shares a very secluded office with another rental company. Initially, I chose this company because of the high ratings, but it was a huge mistake. Four days for a medium-sized MPV cost 4,122 RMB, and I paid in full upfront. Due to a flight delay, they canceled my order within an hour of the reserved time and refused to refund me. It's simply a scam. I don't understand why they have such high ratings on QEEQ; it's total garbage. I struggled for an hour to find their desk after landing on time, and their no-refund policy is extremely unreasonable. I strongly suspect this is their business model. Contacting QEEQ didn’t solve the problem. I ended up renting the same model from a large rental company for only 283 Euros, which is half the price QEEQ charged. I don't see the point of QEEQ, as they just add extra fees and can't resolve issues. I have kept evidence and will complain to the end! I advise everyone not to trust QEEQ's reviews and that there's no need to book through them. You can easily choose a car on-site from the many rental companies and get a better deal with no risk of such scams. Complain to the end!!!
