Very satisfied. The car was new, only driven 10,000 kilometers. I forgot to bring the notarized copy of my driver's license when picking up the car, but the staff let us take a photo and send it via email. They were very patient. They explained the insurance, but I mentioned that I had already purchased it in my home country, so they didn't push for it further. We added a second driver, which cost an additional 7 euros per day, but crossing borders didn't incur extra fees. We didn't wash the car before returning it, and it was a bit dirty, but they didn't charge a cleaning fee. The inspection was very quick. Another car in our group had a minor accident, and we received the damage report via email within a day, and the price was very reasonable. Overall, everything went smoothly. Highly recommended.
The office is not clearly indicated when you landed at the airport

But when I drop off, they don’t check the car because I left my wallet inside and this is the next customer who write me to inform the lost
There was an insurance upsell when renting the car in Rome, but it was okay. Returning the car in Florence was a hassle just as others described. They nitpicked and claimed a small, barely noticeable mark on the front hood was an accident and wanted to charge a few hundred euros. Arguing was futile due to the language barrier. Although I had been warned to take photos and videos during pickup inspection, such tiny marks wouldn't typically be a concern in my country. So, be extra careful. Luckily, I had purchased comprehensive insurance in my country, so we'll see how the claim process goes. The Chinese customers returning cars after me seemed fine; too bad I forgot to ask where they bought their insurance and what kind they got.
If you do online booking, they ask for security deposit 500 euros in rome airport while they say that they charge in security deposit if you do on counter booking and off hour car pickup is not easy while this issue should be addressed.

Arrived at the counter, provided the order information and driving materials, and got the paperwork done quickly. They didn't ask you to buy their insurance. The service was excellent.
Locauto did not have the type of vehicle specified when I created my booking at all. Had to agree to drive in a vehicle with less space, leading to difficulties having all luggage in the car, and cramped seating.
