      It was a complete nightmare. Called the store clerk upon arriving at the airport, but couldn't understand them due to a heavy accent and poor attitude. After contacting customer service, I finally got to the store. The clerk demanded 200 euros for highway fees, threatening a 15 euro charge per camera if not paid. Had to pay 100 euros after further customer service intervention. Not sure if the clerk or all Turkish people are scammers. On one day, the car broke down and we were stranded on the highway. The rental company said we could only contact them via WhatsApp, but I couldn't receive the verification code. Kept asking customer service for help until we finally got a new car after a whole day's hassle, which completely disrupted our travel plans.

We chose this car because it indicated that a Peugeot 208 could fit three 24-inch suitcases. Although I had doubts, I mentioned specifically that we needed a car that could hold three 24-inch suitcases. The store replied that this car can only seat two people and hold three 24-inch suitcases. So I was somewhat prepared, but they ended up giving us a Hyundai hatchback instead of the Peugeot 208, which was disappointing. If it weren't for the luggage capacity claim, I might not have chosen this package.

      When we picked up the car, the fuel tank was empty. The staff only focused on getting our signatures and did not inform us that the car had no fuel! I understand English, so they could have told me, but even without that, there are translation apps they could have used to notify me. They didn't say anything! We drove about 10 kilometers and had to stop by the roadside because the car ran out of fuel. Most importantly, when we called the company, no one answered! Another issue: the car they gave us was extremely dangerous. A maintenance warning light came on as soon as we started driving! They just took a lot of photos when handing over the car and didn't explain any important details. It feels like they only care about making money and not about our safety! At the gas station, we stopped and had someone inspect the car, and they told us the tire pressure was uneven and the wheels were loose! We had to get it repaired ourselves. When we asked to change the car, after a lot of back and forth, they told us there was no available car in the area. We were in the capital city, Ankara! I don't even want to talk about the return process. Overall, it was a terrible experience! Everyone, please spend a bit more money to rent a car at the airport, and go for a major car rental company. Avoid these kinds of rental agencies that do not ensure your safety!!

      I, along with four other ladies, planned a 14-day trip with lots of luggage and decided to rent a car in Istanbul. This was the only company with a large automatic car available, so we booked it. Upon arrival, we waited for almost an hour and then called to be picked up and taken to the office. We were driven to a very dark side street, at least 10 kilometers from the airport, with only a dimly lit parking lot and no other staff in sight. We called the number provided by the platform, and the person on the phone told us to sign the contract with the driver first, and then he would provide the car. After signing, they handed us a manual car with no fuel, contrary to our booking. We protested, but the person on the phone insisted that we had booked a manual car. Our complaints were ignored. I then called customer service. They were polite and patient but couldn't resolve the issue. Due to the late hour, we had no choice but to pay someone to drive us to our destination. To keep up with our itinerary, we had two options: 1. Return the car and fly; 2. Wait for the company to provide the correct car. They insisted we had booked a manual car, and despite multiple calls with customer service, the company begrudgingly agreed to a swap but couldn't guarantee the timing, clearly trying to make things difficult. So, I opted for the return, which the car company refused. Frustrated, we booked flights and left the car (for which we had to fill the gas) at the hotel for the company to pick up. Initially, they claimed they couldn't collect the car, but the hotel later confirmed they did take it that same day. I've only shared around 60% of the details here, but you can imagine our frustration. The platform's support was patient and tried to help but ultimately didn't solve the problem, largely just comforting me. The customer service assured us that an after-sales ticket was created and the issue would be resolved once I returned home. It's been 15 days since I came back, neither the rental fee prepaid on the platform has been refunded, nor the company has returned the 600 Lira deposit. Why was the deposit deducted? The gas tank was full when we left! This car company is unfit for business on this platform; I genuinely suspect it's a scam.

      This was my first time renting a car. I chose the cheapest car but opted for the most expensive insurance. I thought the staff would take me to the car, but instead they directed me to select one from the lot, so there's a high chance the car you pick might not be available and they'll give you another one. The staff also presented a paper while signing the agreement, stating that any issues with the glass or undercarriage would be the driver's responsibility. This is not a problem as long as you have purchased the highest insurance on QEEQ; local insurance companies can reimburse it, although you may need to pay upfront. You can just take the car yourself. AVIS is a big rental company, so they might overlook small details. When returning the car, follow the 'rent a car' signs, drive slowly and follow the instructions. Go to level R of the parking lot where there's a small office. The staff will quickly inspect the car and then you’re done. As long as there are no major scratches on the car, it should be fine.

      The store is right inside the airport, very convenient. The deposit is low and was refunded within three days after returning the car. Avis is really great, the car was in very good condition, and both picking up and returning the car were quick and easy. The deposit was also low. I'll definitely choose Avis again in the future. Before traveling, I read a lot of negative reviews about other companies, so I decided to rent from Avis in advance. They have a counter at the airport, which is very convenient. The car was new, with less than 3000 km on it. The initial deposit was just 500 RMB; I thought it was a mistake at first and confirmed it multiple times through text messages. The deposit was refunded the day after I returned the car (minus toll fees). During our 12-day road trip, the roads were well-constructed, wide, and not very crowded. Fortunately, we rented a small car, otherwise it would have been difficult to navigate in and out of small towns. Google Maps often directed us to very narrow roads in small towns. The toll fee was automatically charged through an HGS device, and gas stations offered free car washes.

      Car pick-up was easy and straightforward. A company representative met us at the arrivals hall and took us directly to the parking lot opposite. After verifying and inspecting the car, we received the keys. No unnecessary questions or explanations about operating the vehicle. They just informed us that the car had no gas and could only drive for about 10 kilometers. We also had to pay the parking fee ourselves when leaving the lot. I asked the parking attendant where the nearest gas station was, but he didn't speak English. Without further ado, I drove out of the airport, avoiding highways and overpasses, sticking to surface roads to find a gas station.       This company has no desk at the airport. The provided phone number was unclear with an extra area code, making me make over ten international calls, costing me 170 RMB. The so-called seven-seater was not as expected. The seventh seat could only be used by removing the luggage compartment cover, which was very small and only held four pieces of luggage, so we had to rent another car. The second car was manual, which wasn’t clearly communicated, causing us a lot of trouble.
