Very satisfied. The Turkish guy’s English wasn't very fluent, but the car pickup process was very easy. I rented a gasoline car but ended up with a diesel one without any extra charge. Although the tank was empty when I picked it up, there was a convenient gas station just at the exit of the parking lot. Cash and some small change are needed; otherwise, the staff may pretend not to understand English and try to play some tricks. The car had excellent overall mileage, covering a total of 2,300 km with the air conditioning on the whole time, and I only had to refuel four times. As a small-engine car, it did a great job of taking our family of three across various terrains. We hit a rock while reversing at KATAPUS beach, damaging the rear bumper, but fortunately, we had full insurance coverage. When returning the car, we only had to pay the highway toll, and everything went smoothly.

The service attitude is really disappointing. Staff were impatient both during pickup and drop-off, suggesting this is not an isolated incident. They showed enthusiasm towards local Turkish customers. While attending to us, a Turkish woman interrupted, and the staff turned to assist her instead, rudely asking us to step aside… This is the worst service attitude I've encountered in over 20 overseas self-driving trips.

The staff had a bad attitude and couldn't speak English, making communication impossible. Part of the contract and payment terms were written in Turkish, which was incomprehensible, leading to issues. It seems like there are many scammers in Turkey; I was even cheated at a public transport recharge station. No scenery can outweigh negative experiences with people. I recommend being cautious when visiting Turkey.

The service was satisfactory, but the car condition was disappointing. The first car we picked up in Istanbul showed a yellow warning light one hour after driving. With the help of locals, we learned it was not a big issue and continued driving. However, upon reaching Izmir, a red warning light appeared, which was very dangerous. On the way to the rental office, we got rear-ended, but the rental company handled the situation and provided a replacement car. The replacement car then showed a maintenance wrench warning in Antalya, and we had to go to the rental office for servicing, which wasted a lot of time and fuel. Additionally, the first car we returned still had one and a half bars of fuel. Overall, the staff had a good attitude, and all issues were eventually resolved satisfactorily.

Our flight arrived early, but we had to wait until the booking time to pick up the car. After communicating with the counter, we were able to collect the car 20 minutes earlier. The service attitude was very good, and both the car pickup and return processes were simple and smooth. No credit card deposit was required for car pickup, full insurance was included, and in case of an accident, you only needed to report it to the authorities. Returning the car was quick—settling highway tolls was done directly and no signature was needed since they had already taken care of it. We drove 3,300 km on this trip, completing a counterclockwise loop around Turkey, with toll costs reaching 2,300 lira. Everything was good except for being given a Peugeot 3008, which was the smallest model in the car group we booked. Our group consisted of 3 adults, 2 children, 2 large 30-inch suitcases, 1 medium 28-inch suitcase, 1 small 20-inch suitcase, and 2 small carry-ons, all of which just fit in the trunk. We initially wanted to upgrade, but the staff explained that upgrades couldn't be arranged on-site unless reserved in advance, as no larger cars were available. It felt frustrating—they could have earned more but didn't.

This was the most unpleasant car rental experience I've ever had. The paperwork process was fairly smooth, taking about 30 minutes to complete. After picking up the car from Cizgi, we drove about 20 kilometers on the highway and were hit from the side by another vehicle. The other driver got out, apologized, and admitted full responsibility. We called the police together, but after waiting for several hours, the police never showed up. During this time, I also tried contacting Cizgi via the emergency number printed on the card provided during pickup, but it was always an automated response followed by disconnection. I want to ask Cizgi: why provide an emergency number that doesn't work? Isn't that deceptive? I also sent an email to the address printed on their card, but there was no response. After waiting for hours, we had no choice but to return to the Cizgi office. In the end, they forcefully charged us 22,000 lira. While it’s not Cizgi’s fault that Istanbul police didn’t come to handle the situation, the fact that their phone didn’t work and emails went unanswered shows that Cizgi is an irresponsible rental company. If anything happens during your trip, such as a breakdown or requiring emergency assistance, you will have to solve it on your own. I strongly advise against choosing a rental company like Cizgi just because it seems cheap. If you encounter issues, no one will help—you'll be left to fend for yourself.

The car is equipped with a highway toll device, charging a total of 2955 lira payable at drop-off. The car was given with an empty tank; after leaving the parking area and heading uphill, there is a gas station on the right-hand side. No need to refuel too much, as the fuel here seems to run out quickly. Our car had two instances of nails puncturing the tires. The license plate has the rental company logo, which made it easy for the traffic police to spot us for speeding violations (suggested to negotiate with the goal of reducing fines). Overall, the car was good and the rental company reliable, but the fines were a bit high.

I’d not used Cizgi before - and so was a little bit apprehensive. However, I got the exact 7 seater that I had booked and the car was fine.
Staff were polite and helpful - and it was exceptionally easy to collect the vehicle. No hard sell for buying extra insurance.
I’m always nervous about giving a car back - and the car hire company trying to blame a scratch or dent on me - but this was very easy. Drop off took no more than a few minutes and they hardly checked the car at all.
