Everything went smoothly

The service attitude was very poor. I don’t know if it was because I am Chinese or Asian, but the staff spoke to me in a very sharp and raised voice. The rental hall was quiet, and everyone’s eyes were on me. Did I say something inappropriate? I just asked why I was told I would be charged for a full tank of gas when I was supposed to return it with a full tank. After answering impatiently, they didn’t stop and continued to complain loudly about why I needed so long to read the contract. Is it such a waste of time if I check the contract for five minutes? How else would I know if there are problems? Do you really need to attract everyone's attention?

Great friendly service

The process was slow. After waiting in line for an hour, they told us that our prepared international driving permit and translated driver's license were not acceptable for renting a car in Italy. It's confusing because the same documents worked perfectly fine in France!

The staff was supportive. Masi & Viola were good fellows. But they charged me Rs. 5500 for fuel worth of Rs. 800. Mis use of pre authorization.

Pick up and drop off were both a smooth process. Florence is a busy location so worth allowing at least 30-60mins to collect your car.

I arrived early, but the first Italian staff member refused to give me the car. I had to queue again at the scheduled time and got the car from another staff member.

Italy's Budget suddenly changed their policy and no longer accepts Chinese driver's licenses.

Why did the store charge €70 more than the quoted price on the rental platform?

Car added lots of hidden fees and tried to charge me for damage I didn’t commit. Am fighting process currently

We were handed the keys with no pre check condition of car and sent off to a huge car park to find it... 2 groups with 4 young children... I managed to picture all of the scratches and dents however my brother in law after 10 mins of looking was so stressed with not being able to find his car in 30+degree heat that he forgot. He was charged on return for small scratches on the car which were on a precheck sheet, he refused to admit to and was told that he needed proof or he would be fined ...I was then shown my precheck sheet which the same man said I had made extra scratches that he had no record of, fortunately I then produced the (unbeknownst to him)photos I took which showed these marks and It was painfully obvious that he was trying to con me.. I had also just witnessed an elderly lady being fined for chips of the paintwork and she had no evidence otherwise. I would have thought a precheck walk around should be standard prior to hiring any vehicle, not an inquisition when returning.. a very disappointing end to a lovely holiday . Please respond to this complaint prior to my posting on trip advisor in 48 hours.

Took more than half an hour, and a long line formed behind. They went ahead and printed the contract, including a prepaid fuel tank, super cover, and all sorts of extras. Politely declined, but they wouldn't accept no. Finally, after some insistence, they still set the rental time according to the first contract.

Terrible experience

The rental company didn't provide the automatic car I booked and made me wait for an hour and a half. In the end, they told me they couldn't provide the reserved vehicle and offered a manual car instead, along with a no-fuel-needed compensation. However, it disrupted my schedule.

Car collection took a very long time, well over an hour. Luckily the Firenze staff member greeting us was extremely helpful. The car itself was not great - a button on the fob unlocks the boot and if you are not aware of this then the boot can fly open - happened to us on motorway and those following us were very lucky to avoid collision. Avoid Fiat Qubo!

Very simple and good value, will use again Rebooking feature is briliant!

GPS was not good. Rest all ok. Counter staff will make you worry and sell additional insurance even if we have take full protection from easycar.

Booking platform is good. No issues.

Service attitude was mediocre and not very patient.

Waited in line for 2 hours

They won't accept any documents other than an international driver's license, and they refused to rent the car on the spot. Note: This review requires me to mention a specific car model, but I didn't actually get a car, so I had to select one. Once again, the car rental company refused to give me a car!
