CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON APEX AT PERTH AIRPORT, PER

Apex had not received my details nor payment after booking thru QEEQ. As my flight was delayed and I arrived at my destination late (4:30pm), apex refused to pick us up from the airport because they state last pick up at 4pm. They offered to call me a taxi at my cost and they close at 5pm so I was struggling to make it in time. They had no details nor payment thanks to QEEQ so I couldn’t even get a refund.

I got a downsized car even though I specifically asked and paid for a big family car. During my stay in Perth, I had to change my accommodation twice and because of your small car I had to hire additional taxis in order to transfer my luggage. Due to this most of the time my partner traveled alone and we incurred extra unforeseen costs.

We were very happy with the ease of car hire We were there for my father’s funeral so didn’t need any complications Staff were great and the car was excellent.

Price drop made a big difference

Time for picking up was a bit long as we have to wait for staff to be available. But it’s was all good. Just a down side that Apaec in Perth airport closed at 3pm. So we have to pay an extra $40 for drop off after 3pm

I thought I was booking my car with an Australia agent as everything was quoted in Australian dollar and I used my Australian credit card to pay. When I get my credit card statement I was shock to see my bank charged me an international transaction fee of $36 because QEEQ is based oversea. I am very unhappy. Will not book with QEEQ again.

Booking was too simple.

The counter staff was very helpful at pick-up point. The pick-up and drop off was very smooth.

Booking platform was great and overall the service was easy to use.

Counter staff was excellent, but there was no one there briefly when we arrived to drop the car off early. They weren't long, but a key drop off box or a note on their door would have been good. If we had waited longer I think we might have been cross.

Car in very good condition, good price and easy pick up drop off

Counter staff very pleasant. Had to point out that booking included my wife as second driver without any charge. One of the few companies I found that didn’t have restrictions for mileage based on 100km within Perth area. There is a map on their site showing boundary limits which is excellent. Pick up easy, drop off is literally that. Drop the keys and go. The only down side to this is they don’t look over the car or check mileage/fuel so you wonder if you will be contacted for anything in the days after. However this has been 8 days since drop off and no contact but there was’t a need for this as the car was returned in the same condition as pick up. I have used Apex in NZ and would use again. Only issue was trying to contact Apex before booking as there is only a NZ number.

Maybe state that UK driving licence holder doesn’t need the international licence. I emailed QEEQ in advance to verify this with the. Email contact from QEEQ and texts with tips and info for collection and drop off and how to contact if any issues.

No problem with the booking a car

The car did not exceed my expectations. It was old and seemed to struggle on the freeway over 80km/h. Not the car I thought I had booked. The staff however, were lovely. Very friendly and professional!

The pick up service staff, a Chinese lady, could have been more proactive and accomodating I was given a Toyota altris

This is a friendly platform

Arrived after rental car hours so had to pick car up the next day. Apex staff were aware of our flight delays and held our reservation. Smooth transition once we got to the car rental facility the next day.

Great car company. Made the whole thing easy. Interior of the car was a little dirty but the outside was spotless (easy to see if there is any damage, which there wasn’t). Friendly staff. Highly recommend
