They handed me the car without a full tank, saying there was no time, and that it would be adjusted for the current fuel level. When I returned the car, they tried to charge me for a full tank, but I caught them and they removed the fee. Also, there was no luggage cover for the trunk when I picked up the car, and I wasn't aware it was supposed to have one. When returning the car, the staff said they didn't know if the other location had provided it, and planned to charge me for it as a loss. Overall, the car was in good condition, relatively new, but there were quite a few hidden charges. Make sure your English is fluent and be vigilant, or you could lose a few hundred pounds.

Le véhicule (une Tesla modèle S) n'était pas rechargé entièrement : Charge à 70% au lieu de 100%. Un pneu était crevé : le voyant de sécurité s'est allumé moins de 5 miles après notre départ de l'agence de location (aèroport d'Edimbourg). La ceinture de sécurité côté passager fonctionnait mal.... Bref, j'ai perdu une demi journée de mes vacances pour ramener le véhicule à l'agence pour qu'il soit échangé par un autre.

Although there was a small issue when picking up the car, it was smoothly resolved after conscientious and responsible communication with the platform's customer service. A thumbs-up to the customer service guy! The car was in great condition and very new.

Return check in involved waiting in cold car park while very pleasant man went through his job, but was that necessary that I had to be there? On other hires I just dump the keys, or else someone is checking the car as soon as I pull up and start offloading the bags.

I booked a Mercedes C-Class, but initially got a CLA. They claimed it was the same class, but it was too small for four people and four pieces of luggage. Upon request, they switched it to a standard C-Class.

I like renting a car from Alamo, because their custom service is quite good in US, but this time I hired in UK and again, their custom service was pretty high standard and I am not sure if Scottish ppl are so helpful or what, their quick service and manners were great. What I was surprised was they called us after I went a car while I was waiting for my flight.... everything was so quick and smoothly managed. I am very happy with that.

I have to say thank you for quick response when I needed to cancel my bookings and confirm with me few times to make sure it has been cancelled or not. Appreciated that.
