The service was very satisfactory, the staff was very friendly, and the pick-up and drop-off process was extremely convenient, located at the ground parking lot of Terminal 1 at the airport, less than 100 meters from the airport exit. Large companies provide excellent service and a quick, easy experience.

Overall good. They also recommended the full insurance from the rental company. They switched us to a DR car, which was in good condition but a bit large, making it quite challenging to navigate the underground parking in Madrid!

After repeatedly confirming with the staff about the deposit breakdown, we were told that part of it was an upgrade fee for the vehicle and the rest was just a standard deposit. However, after returning the car, no invoice was provided proactively. When we eventually obtained the invoice from the rental platform, we discovered that insurance had been forced upon us. We’ve never encountered such a situation when renting cars overseas, and we’re not sure if this is a problem specific to Spain or Europcar. Regardless, it feels like we were scammed. Everyone should be cautious—it's best to record videos and audio throughout the process as evidence. Otherwise, if the rental company denies it later, you won’t be able to defend your rights.

The staff speaks English and recommended an upgraded insurance package. After refusing once, they did not mention it again. They provided a brand-new Mercedes GLA200, which was very easy to drive and spacious. During the return process, the staff conducted an on-site inspection.

The driver's license requirements stated on the Zuzuche app are incorrect. The store only accepts international driver's licenses, but the app lists requirements including notarized translations certified by the consulate. When picking up the car, they required an international driver's license to be issued on-site. Although Zuzuche reimbursed the cost for obtaining the license, the pickup process was delayed by over five hours. Overall, it was not a very satisfactory experience.

Before picking up the car, I was worried they might push insurance sales, but they didn't at all. They just confirmed with me that I didn’t purchase their in-store insurance. I originally booked an MG, but they gave me a Mercedes-Benz minivan instead. It was too big, and I was scared to drive it. They charged a 500 Euro deposit, which was refunded the next day after returning the car.

The staff member at Europcar in Barcelona, a man, insisted I purchase their insurance even though I already bought full coverage. After a lengthy back-and-forth, he finally gave in. I rented a Ford Focus but was given a Skoda instead. When returning the car, I had only used one-third of the fuel, yet they charged me over 80 euros. Is Spanish fuel made of gold? I asked the Zuzuche customer service team to inquire about the charges, but after two weeks, I still didn't get a detailed breakdown of the fees. This kind of charge feels very shady. Next time I visit Barcelona, I will personally stop by and address that scoundrel directly.

This was my first time using EuroCar, and I'm very satisfied. The staff were patient and thorough. Since I was going on a long-distance trip, they specifically picked a car suitable for long drives. The car was very new and equipped with adaptive cruise control and driver assistance features, which significantly reduced the driver's workload on the highway. I'm very grateful.

Don't be fooled by the initially cheap price. I wanted to rent a Golf, but they said they only had a Ford of the same class. There’s an additional charge of 0.5 euros per km if you exceed 1000 km. I recommend calculating the costs carefully before deciding whether to rent. I opted for full insurance upon arrival, which cost 94 euros. The deposit was reduced from 1200 to 200 euros. Overall, the experience was quite unpleasant—lacking transparency. Picking up the car was also troublesome, as I had to take a shuttle to another hotel, which added at least an hour to the process.

This experience serves as a serious warning to everyone planning to rent a car in Europe.
View moreFirst of all, the car I reserved was completely different from the one I was given, and the difference was significant. The rental company claimed that the given vehicle was the only one available. Since we were rushing to keep to our itinerary, we didn't argue much. The most outrageous part was that the car we received was actually broken. Initially, when shifting into first gear, the car reversed instead of moving forward. We thought it was just us being unfamiliar with the car's operation, so we didn't pay much attention. However, the issue persisted for about ten minutes. Later, as we were driving towards the parking lot exit, the car completely stalled on an uphill slope and even started smoking. The rental company insisted that the damage was our fault. When the car was handed to us, the fuel level was already close to empty, making it seem like this was a trick being used repeatedly. They directly charged €1500 from my credit card. Now, I’ve filed a complaint and it's already been over a month and a half without any progress. There are many details I won’t elaborate on, but overall, it was a terrible experience. It seriously ruined our travel plans for the day. Not only were we delayed, but we lost over €1500 for a car that didn’t even leave the parking lot. On top of that, they refused to refund the fee for that day’s rental. Honestly, the whole ordeal felt sickening, like eating something disgusting.
