The staff at the store were quite helpful and greeted with a smile. They remind you to buy insurance, but if you've already purchased it domestically, there's no need to buy extra. However, domestic insurance claims require you to pay upfront first and then claim reimbursement from the insurance company.

The car was in great condition, with a mileage of around 50,000 kilometers. The interior was very clean, and there was enough space for a family of four. Both picking up and returning the car were smooth. Overall, it was a great experience.

Car was everything it was supposed to be, no problem. And it was very well priced. No trouble finding the shuttle to the rental location. A bit of a crowd at the pick-up desk meant queuing for a while. But I was the only customer in the place for a quick easy return. But beware additional charges- needed to extend a 4 day booking by 3 hrs, which cost more than a prebooked day !

I chose this company because their full insurance was cheaper, only A$25, while other major rental companies charged A$50. This is a New Zealand-based rental company with excellent service and very friendly staff. However, I got a Mitsubishi ASX with 130,000 km on it. It performed decently at low speeds, but once it reached over 100 km/h, the car would start to shake. The vehicle's condition was a bit poor.

Was really great having a rental service that had the cars parked so close to the terminal. A very short walk from the counter to the cars and we were given very clear instructions on how to find it. The car was presented perfectly and we were given all the information we needed at pick up.

We waited in line for over an hour and a half didn’t even get an apology For the long wait he was quite rude hand me the keys said there is one mark on the car .... well another 15min walking around checking the car so I took pictures of the car email back straight away I will never recommend any of friends to go with Europcar

Counter staff wasn't that friendly and seemed not so happy that we purchased the add-on comprehensive insurance via EasyRentCars platform instead of directly through Avis. Car didn't meet our expectations as we booked an Intermediate Corrolla but were given a Compact Hatchback Corrolla instead. Only noticed this once we reached the pickup bay area and were too lazy to walk back, dragging luggage & our small children, to Avis counter inside the Terminal to get the car changed.

Would never deal with NU cars again! The booking said the car rental was from Coolangatta airport and i had to call their office to find out where they were. They than said they were in tweed heads and proceeded to take 30 minutes to pick us up when they said they were 8 minutes away. Then we got to their offices finally and the manager there was extremely rude, changed our drop off time to an hour earlier, told us to drop it off at an offsite location and when we did he charged us an extra $70 when we dropped it off on time. The manager at the drop off location tried calling their offices and mobiles and they did not answer. Absolutely a horrible experience overall. He even was barking orders at his worker infront us and told us other patrons have been “fucking pigs” in how they left the state of his cars. Did not feel comfortable with the entire experience and the only benefit of dropping it off at the other location was that we didn’t need to see him again.

Perfect, the only thing is that you need to spend extra time to wait for bus shuttle to the pick up location. No issue as it takes 10-15 mins for the ride. Shuttle is free. Some charges on the shuttle.

I was happy with the pick up process. It was fast and easy. And I have to commend them for availing a car for a last minute decision during the school holidays. On drop off my daughter realised she had left my glasses in the car so went back to retrieve them and was told she couldn't go back to the vehicle. As we were getting ready to board our flight we left. I've been trying to call to enquire but have been left waiting to have my calls answered. I don't have time to use your online services I'm on the road for long periods and calling is way more convenient.

Picked up the car from Hertz at the airport. The office is conveniently located in the airport. However, the first staff member we encountered was not familiar with the process and incorrectly informed us that we couldn't pick up an Apollo car from Hertz, resulting in us wasting over half an hour searching for an Apollo office outside.
