“It is a nightmare, trying to talk to recovery hot line.”
About Alamo:9.0/10
I need a damage report for the claim that they currently put on me for 2500 Euro. I had an incidence where the right front Tyre was flat prior to me returning the car. The recovery number which I called, I have hard time trying to communicated for language barrier.
The rental service quality is excellent, no upselling. Since the small car we booked was unavailable, they upgraded us for free. The car was in good condition, full tank on pickup and return, quick drop-off process, and deposit was refunded immediately.
Initially, I received the reserved Peugeot 508, which was brand new with less than 1000 kilometers. Unfortunately, the air conditioning broke down after a day. Luckily, I was in Paris, so I went to the airport to exchange the car and was given a Ford KUGA hybrid with 8000 kilometers. It had more space and was fuel-efficient. When picking up the car, they only asked about insurance and explained how to claim it with the insurance I bought from QEEQ. There was no further upselling, and the service attitude was excellent.
The service was terrible. We waited for 1.5 hours for the car. They said we could get a discount for waiting so long, but in the end, there was no discount. They claimed our prepayment couldn't be processed. Ridiculous! They also pushed us to buy insurance - and we didn't even understand it. We had already bought full coverage. In the end, we paid 105 euros for three days! Strongly recommend not renting from Alamo. Sixt is clearly much better.
The service attitude of the car rental company was quite good, and QEEQ customer service intervened very promptly. Initially, we went to Terminal 1 to find the car rental company, but we were informed by the staff that all car rental companies at Terminal 1 were closed. However, the pickup address on the slip was not updated to Terminal 2, which wasted nearly an hour. Fortunately, the subsequent pickup process was smooth. We booked a Citroen C3, but the store upgraded us for free to a Peugeot 2008 SUV with less than 30k mileage.
“Overall good experience with Alamo and easyrentcars.”
About Alamo:9.0/10
Easy pick up although there were nobody at the counter. Was told that there are at the car pickup area so there I went. Paperwork is fast and had to wait 15 mins for car to arrive and it's fine for me.
Car is in good condition and everything explained in detailed.
Car drop off is smooth within less than few minutes.
Overall good experience with Alamo.
