When picking up the car, I was told that the reserved car was no longer available because I arrived two hours late, and I had to pay extra to upgrade—an additional €63 per day, which was quite expensive. The store also tries to push their insurance, but if you’ve already purchased full coverage on Zuzuche, there’s really no need to consider buying insurance abroad.
This rental company specifically scams Chinese customers. They pre-mark the wheel hub and then claim you damaged it when you return the car. How could it possibly get damaged there? German brains must be full of crap. They don't allow you to inspect the car when picking it up, and when returning it, they say everything is fine. Four months later, they deduct your money, truly shameless.
Renting a car is simple, and returning it is even simpler. Just hand the keys to the store, tell them the car is in good condition and the tank is full, and you're good to go. They won't verify, they completely trust you.
Very rude. Ordered medium suv jeep- tried to give us down grade ateca and then gave us tiguain- without saying he was going to charge us an extra 100 euros. Too tired and late to argue when we found out- surely a tiguain is a medium suv?!
