I arrived early, 2.5 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. With my limited English, I managed to complete the rental process with the help of an African American guy at the counter. Since I was early, the reserved car wasn't back yet. They switched me to a car of the same class. The picture showed a Nissan, but I couldn't find a Nissan in the lot. When I asked the staff, he casually pointed to the area and said I could pick any car I liked. How generous! When returning the car, I drove to the designated spot where a white guy scanned the rental code, checked the gas and mileage, printed a receipt from his device, and everything was done in just 3 minutes. Quick and easy.

The attendant at the San Francisco airport car rental counter had a poor attitude. After declining to upgrade the car model and purchase fuel and insurance, he barely looked at us properly.
