We booked a Kia Morning but they gave us a Chevrolet Spark instead. Besides that, their customer support is slow. I called to ask for help but they replied me on the next day. Luckily it wasn't any urgent matters, Tamra can work better in this. Other than that, everything is good!

Excellent. They have a WhatsApp chat service which is very helpful for visitors with only a data plan. They even contacted me on the day of rental to confirm my arrival. Unfortunately, because it was not easy to know Tamra closes at 8pm at the time of booking on EasyRentCars (my flight landed at 8.30pm), I almost could not collect my vehicle and it would have destroyed my itinerary. Fortunately, Tamra helped me to arrange for a late pickup smoothly, and checked in on me to see if I picked up the car in the end. They even reminded me to take pictures of the car, something a new rental car driver may not do. The return process was extremely smooth too. 10/10 would rent again.

1. Given a car different from one I booked.
2. The car had empty fuel tank, with red warning light.
3. When questioned why empty tank, I was given a foolish verbal explanation by a man (a manager, I think, who is not a local Korean) that there is restriction by the Korean authorities in filling up rental cars. This is really insulting my intelligence, to say the least), just to find an excuse.
4. A requested for the car I booked weeks ago, with full fuel, but was told I need to wait for the car to be available when returned by user.!!
5. Finally after arguing, I was offered a bigger car, not of my choice, with slightly more than a quarter tank.
6. With no choice, I took this car which was difficult for me to drive, and costs me much more in fuel cost.
7. All in all, I had an unpleasant experience upon arrival at Tamra, and it ruined the start of my holiday in Jeju to some extent.

The car was dirty and not cleaned properly. The windscreen wasn't cleaned properly and was difficult to see through at night.
The car condition wasn't great - there were issues with the gear which didn't affect the drive however you could hear sounds when you were turning the steering wheel to the left.
The wheel didn't have enough air either. It was a bit of a hassle having to take a shuttle bus from the airport to collect the car. Waiting for the shuttle bus to arrive, and waiting for other passengers took some time.

We didn't know it was an electric car or was notified about it. Of course there was nothing wrong/different driving an electric car (eventhough we had no experience with one) but we had to find the car charger according to the membership they gave us, which was not applicable just anywhere. We had their contact number but Tamra was not responsive. We were given a new gps which does not work with telephone numbers, hence finding location on the gps is not as easy as well. Locations don't just pop-up one our first search and we wasted quite abit of time searching and also finding the right charger.

The vehicle provided was not the model I had booked through easyrentcars.com, but it was an equivalent model, and seeing as I booked "economy", it was more than enough to get from A to B. Price was the same.
Our only complaint is that the gas tank was almost empty when the car was picked up. I didn't realize until I was almost out of gas, and had to make a detour. The condition of the car was cosmetically poor (many scrapes and scratches), but that didn't matter to me for cruising the countryside. It ran well and had no mechanical problems. I was expected to document pre-existing damage to the vehicle using my own cell phone pictures, which was strange as a foreigner, but possibly normal in Korea.
Huge bonus points to Tamra for being one of the only rental companies on Jeju island to rent to foreigners (non-koreans). At least one of their employees is impressively trilingual (English, Korean, Mandarin), which is a big deal for international travelers.

My family came from Singapore to Jeju for a vacation in which we planned to see the beauty and attractions of the island. To do so we rented the car from Tamra. The overall experience we had was Excellent!
I would like to highlight two unique cased related to the good service we received from Tamra and specifically from Azim, who is a senior manager in the company:
1. Upon the pickup of the car we discovered that the model I booked was not wide enough to sit 2 child seats + adult in the back. Tamra were very kind and agreed to change the model to a wider one with no extra cost and in an efficient manner.
2. On our way to the drop off, just before boarding a flight to Seoul, we had a flat tire. Azim sent a service car to handle the issue, and personally drove us to the airport without going through the process of returning the car so that we will not miss our flight.

Counter staff was very polite.
I received whatsapp messages to inform me the shuttle bus services was over and was directed to a youtube video to know the directions to the pickup point. Video was clear and easy to understand.
There were lots of scratches on the exterior of the car which can be repaired so as to improve the overall outlook of the vehicle and also for the driver. But the value and vehicle engine works well for my case, so I have nothing major to complaint.

All process done via electronic and paperless. The communication in english is not so good. I don't have any issue with the car condition, the bus shuttle pickup and return to airport is very smooth. I booked Kia Morning but was given Chervolet Spark instead. The car is not new with many scratches and tyres thread almost worn out. I requested to switch car but was told that no other car available. However, I can clearly see two Kia Morning available at the car park lot that day. I also noticed that the Chervolet Spark fuel consumption was higher as compared to Kia Morning. I was charged additional KRW10,000 for late returning the car for 40 minutes. Besides that, the GPS provided were outdated and difficult to use.

Actually it is not so convenient to collect and drop off the car outside from airport given the big luggage we have.
Besides, it will be better to provide the driver with full tank of fuel when we collect the car as we do not know how much we need to fuel up before we return. I would say this policy was unfair to the driver.

Later, they sent a PDF of the signed documents to my WeChat upon request. The car arrived on time at the pickup point. However, one staff member was careless and didn’t ask for any registration; just told me to take the car. The fuel tank was only one-third full, and the staff member said it was fine to return it the same way. Later, I felt something was wrong, so I used WeChat to contact a colleague at the car rental company whom I’d spoken to before. He told me to go back and re-register all the documents, but by then I'd already left Jeju City and had to drive an extra 50 kilometers.

I chose Tamra out of three rental companies because the reviews mentioned Chinese service. However, the so-called Chinese service is just adding a WeChat account in Chinese to ask questions directly. There are no staff members who speak Chinese at the store; communication is all in Korean or English, so it's manageable if your English is decent. The WeChat staff had a poor attitude and responded very slowly, providing no real help and significantly affecting my travel experience. I won't choose Tamra again. Driving around Jeju Island is very convenient and easy. Except for the city center, which has more traffic, other areas are not crowded and are great for driving.

The Tamra store should have known that my flight KA325 would arrive in Jeju after their closing time at 08:00 PM on 22/06, but they still accepted the order. This led to me having to take a taxi to the hotel that night and then another taxi to the airport the next day (23/06) to pick up the car. The time and money I lost should be compensated by both you (ZuzuCar and Tamra).
