You can arrive of ACE Rental Cars - Christchurch Airport car rental by free shuttle bus.

Complimentary pick-up and drop-off service to our Christchurch Airport branch for customers from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. The shuttle operates to Christchurch airport domestic & international terminals and Christchurch airport accommodation. CUSTOMERS ARRIVING AT CHRISTCHURCH AIRPORT Call 0800 502 277 (+64 3 360 3270) to arrange a pickup to by a Ace Rental Cars shuttle to collect their rental car, after collecting your luggage exit the terminal and make your way to door 2, near the regional arrivals/departures lounge where the shuttle will pick you up.

Drop-off Instructions

Shuttle service to Christchurch Airport domestic and Christchurch Airport international terminals from 7:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. DEPARTING FLIGHTS Allow an additional 30 minutes prior to flight check-in time for vehicle return & transfer to terminal.If returning your vehicle outside of business hours simply park outside our Christchurch Airport branch, lock the car and place keys in drop box on the far left side of the front entrance in the corner. Please note that our courtesy shuttles are not available outside of business hours and you will need to make your own way from the Christchurch Airport branch. IMPORTANT Leaving the car in the Airport Carpark will cost $60 in addition to all hourly parking charges incurred.

ACE Rental Cars does not allow to bring the rental vehicle to ferry. You will drop off your car at one port and collect another after crossing to the other island. A minimum of 3 days consecutive rental required in each island (If the minimum length of rental requirement is not met, then the rental will be charged as two separate hires.).

Like: It was my first time in Christchurch and loved it but it was sad to drive through the city and there was hardly anyone around. The city is still recovering from the devastation of the earthquake and i got teary when i saw the church still in rubble

There is no service counter at Christchurch Airport. Due to our flight being delayed, we couldn't pick up the car on time. The car was handed over to another rental company but wasn't transferred in time. This resulted in us having to go back to the airport the next morning to pick up the car. The staff had a very indifferent attitude, as if it wasn't their responsibility.
