The car was 0 milage Toyota CHR hybrid. It was fine but slow in acceleration. My chosen car was Volvo V40 which I would have preferred. Only issue it would be great if they would tell of traffic violation upon handing over.

When dropping off the car I was presented with another bill to pay and as running for flight did not have time to question what was all about. I have since emailed and awaiting response. I am still to understand the costs being presented. Just another point not sure if it was the road or car but you may want to check the tracking/balancing as car kept trying to go to the right so made it a little awkward at times. Also after driving for a day, I had to take to garage to check tyre pressure and informed incorrect valve was fitted - I paid for this to be replaced on driver front type.
Very dirty car with mud both inside and outside. Horrible cigarette smoke. Had to buy a spray can to get it somewhat under control. Got 3 euros back for spray can thats it. Got a headache from the bad smell. I should have rejected this car and Hertz should have never put it up for rent. No more Hertz NL for me.
The staff was extremely slow; everyone in line was complaining. When returning the car, they blamed us for a small scratch that we didn't cause and demanded 1200 euros before allowing us to leave. It was a terrible experience.
My English is quite poor, but the overall process was smooth. The car return procedure was simple, the deposit was about 300 euros, and the service was patient throughout.
Previously reported an issue where a change in my rental order led to a change in pick-up time, so the company wouldn't process it early. They also said they didn't have the car I booked. When the time came, they gave me a car from the same group, but its condition was very poor! The car was parked in the farthest corner of the garage. I noted that the damage to the right side mirror affected driving safety. The first African-American staff member immediately agreed to change the car, but then a short Caucasian staff member came and disagreed. He tried to fix it but it was still broken. I insisted on my stance, and eventually, the African-American staff upgraded me to a Ford SUV. I appreciate it.
The car was great. Service at pickup was ok, at drop off excellent. Car was clean inside but outside mirrors and windscreen were dirty. Overall very good experience.
The overall service was very satisfactory. The car we received was brand new. After completing the paperwork at the counter, follow the orange corridor to the innermost elevator and go down to level -1, where you'll see the Hertz sign. Almost all car pickups are here. Just find the sign of your rental company. The whole process was smooth, and there were no upsells. I checked the car carefully and took some photos.
