CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON AVIS IN NAPLES

Very good

My booking was for a Jeep Renegade or similar vehicle, which I paid extra to get. I was totally disappointed at hatchback Kia Stonic that was provided.

It was evident that AVIS representatives were not happy with a third party booking. Not sure if will book through third party again.

We booked a famous Michelin restaurant in Positano, and if we didn't arrive on time, we would be fined 30 euros per person. We went to pick up the car at 9 am as scheduled, but were told there was no car and we'd have to wait until 11 am. When we went back at 11 am, there was still no car. The whole day passed without a car, and we missed our restaurant reservation. The store staff offered no solutions that wouldn't cost us, and when it was his lunch time, he just left. Our two-day rental was ruined the first day, and we were fined 210 euros by the restaurant. The next day, there was still no car! We immediately switched to a new company and things got better. We booked a two-day full insurance rental but haven't gotten any refund till now. The car we rented temporarily cost as much as our original two-day booking, and we were still fined by the restaurant. Really want to cry.

Had to wait in line for 20 minutes to pick up the car at Naples Airport. Originally booked to pick up the car at 3:00 PM, but we didn't actually get the car until 3:40 PM.

Avis Naples is an absolute gong show. There were huge lineups at the pick area (which is outside the terminal) and we waited about 45 mins to get the car. Wasn’t the car we reserved but that was okay because it still fit our needs. No one inspected the car with us before hand. We dropped the car in Rome and the Rome Avis was great.

It's was very great to take a car and go through all Amalfi coast. Car was for me and my girlfriend, so we satisfied totally.

Very quick to find a car.

It was a Hybrid car, so not immediately easy to understand the operation. I needed to go back and ask for help. Help was good, also to assist in connecting to the car's Wi-Fi

AVIS's service attitude is generally mediocre anywhere.

Completely failed to solve the problem. This platform is unnecessary, causes information asymmetry, and is virtually useless. Your orders are worthless!

The queue was quite long, which is normal in Italy due to low efficiency.

A very good car rental company, highly efficient and easy to locate.
