This is the worst car rental company I've ever seen, bar none. The pick-up and drop-off is at BLOCK D of the parking lot in Terminal 1 of Kuala Lumpur KLIA Airport. This parking lot is for internal staff and requires an employee card to enter. Nobody informed me about this when I picked up the car. When I returned the car, I found out I couldn't enter the parking lot without the employee card. I called Europcar, and they told me to wait at the entrance for someone to assist me. But it was useless; I waited for half an hour and nobody showed up. In the end, I was so anxious that I had to park the car on the road and run to the office to get someone to swipe the card for me. I almost missed my flight.
I was given a repaired accident vehicle, and the driver's window leaks when it rains. More seriously, the brake pads were already worn out, and the car wasn't checked properly upon delivery, which severely affected my trip.

About Shouqizuche:8.0/10
The Malaysians' English wasn't very standard, and our English was even worse, making communication difficult. However, the staff remained patient and tried their best to communicate.

About Shouqizuche:8.0/10
The car had scratches, and detailed records were made during pickup to avoid liability. Compliance with local traffic regulations and an understanding of local driving habits are necessary, and courteous driving is a must.
The communication between the QEEQ platform and customers during the booking process was poor, which made the trip less smooth. The platform needs improvement.

Promised Chinese support was not available, which was very disappointing. Additionally, Shouqi Car Rental only partners with Europcar, with no Shouqi signs visible locally. Without prior online research, finding it would have been impossible.
Overall, this was the most unsatisfactory experience among the more than twenty rentals I've had with this company. While some issues weren't their fault (I advise you to think twice before renting a car in Malaysia), the hassle I encountered was partly due to their lack of control over their partners. The main issues were:
1. Pickup: Arrived at the rental location at the scheduled time, during business hours, but no one was there. Several customers were stranded outside for nearly an hour. The three phone numbers provided—two were disconnected, one went unanswered. Contacted the rental platform, but they couldn't reach the car rental company either;
2. TouchNGo: Driving in Malaysia requires using highways, and most toll booths don't accept cash payments, and even if they do, they don't provide change. You need a TouchNGo card, which wasn't available for rental or purchase at the car rental location, and couldn't be found at 7-11, Watsons, gas stations, or toll booths;
3. Car Accident: I was rear-ended and the other driver was at fault. Called the car rental company, but none of their phone numbers worked, including the Google-listed office number. Local people bullied us, and it took over an hour for the police to arrive. The other driver fled, leaving us unable to resolve the issue on-site. Eventually, I found the rental company and followed their advice to report the accident at a police station, which was time-consuming. I had to pay an access fee of 2500 MYR up front (far exceeding the repair cost), and I was promised a refund after the insurance claim (still waiting after a month). Reflecting back, I realized they made me go through all this just to pocket my 2500 MYR and claim a compensation from the insurance company. The process delayed my entire itinerary, and I was charged extra for returning the car late, without any leniency;
4. The vehicle's hygiene was concerning. There were small cockroaches inside the car. They were less visible during the day, but every morning, as soon as I opened the door, I could see German cockroaches scurrying away. I couldn't leave any food inside the car. Throughout the process, I experienced the local car rental company's unprofessionalism, lack of reasonableness, and poor customer service. Pointing out their shortcomings was met with helpless apologies and insincere responses, which was quite frustrating.
Even though I asked in advance, the GPS couldn't find the return location when we arrived at the airport. Eventually, we had to ask a police officer to call the rental company to find the place. The most unsatisfactory part was the fuel charge during drop-off. The fuel gauge was a quarter tank less full, but when I filled up the tank when the fuel light was flashing, it cost me just 61 MYR. A quarter tank would be around 15 MYR, but the rental company charged me 61 MYR, saying 31 MYR was a service fee. They insisted that the contract stated so, but who can understand an entire contract in English? After much arguing, I had to pay, and because of this, I missed my flight by five minutes. I ended up spending over 300 MYR per person for new tickets for four people. When renting a car at the next stop, even the rental staff remarked that it shouldn't be like this!
