Rented a car in Avignon, and it was exceptionally good. The car had 60,000 kilometers but was extremely smooth to drive, especially on the way to Sainte-Croix Lake. It performed excellently on the downhill roads back to Cannes, even with narrow and winding paths.
The process was fairly smooth and the staff provided detailed information. Unlike in China, the staff just gave the key and the parking spot, and you have to get the car yourself instead of them driving it out for you.
The pickup location is unreliable, and my rental contract had major loopholes. The drop-off location was closed on the day of return, causing significant losses.
The car pick-up went smoothly. When returning the car, the staff had already left, so I had to use the self-service return. There were some issues, but fortunately, they were resolved smoothly.
Great experience hiring. Cheaper than anywhere else and incredibly easy to pick up car. Will use again!
