I arrived early, 2.5 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. With my limited English, I managed to complete the rental process with the help of an African American guy at the counter. Since I was early, the reserved car wasn't back yet. They switched me to a car of the same class. The picture showed a Nissan, but I couldn't find a Nissan in the lot. When I asked the staff, he casually pointed to the area and said I could pick any car I liked. How generous! When returning the car, I drove to the designated spot where a white guy scanned the rental code, checked the gas and mileage, printed a receipt from his device, and everything was done in just 3 minutes. Quick and easy.

They kept telling me that the insurance I bought in China was useless and insisted I buy their insurance. When I asked about the available miniVAN models, they said they didn't know. Their attitude was quite average. Then they recommended that I upgrade to a Sienna. Actually, for four of us with two kids, plus three small suitcases and two medium-sized ones, it all fit. Later, communication with a Chinese staff member was better.

If it wasn't, we would have had to choose the Jetta (known as Sagitar in China). If you plan to upgrade the model on-site, it will definitely be more expensive than booking through QEEQ, so it's best to choose a satisfactory model group in advance. Compared to costs for accommodation and food, car rental in the U.S. is very cheap. Renting a bicycle in San Francisco costs $35 a day, without insurance and tax.

Taking the blue line from San Francisco airport directly to the car rental point was convenient and fast. As soon as we arrived at the car pickup location, we experienced the warmth and simplicity of the American people. It was truly a pleasant experience! If we need to rent a car abroad in the future, Alamo is a great choice!
