Europecar offered me a SERES3 EV. I asked them for another car such as Peugeot, Renault, Citroën, etc, but they said they have only Chinese EV cars or Tesla for extra 100 €. I didn't accept Tesla, and take Seres3. During my drive on the first day, the car had problem with electric system. I went to the Europcar Agency in Montpelier Airport. At the beginning they refused to change the car. I called Europcar Help Center and QEEQ help center but didn't contact to anybody. I resist to change the car and they accept to change the car with MG4. This EV car was OK and I completed my travel without another problems.

The car was great, but the lady at the counter was very unfriendly to Chinese customers. Initially, she was fine, but her face immediately changed when she heard that we didn't buy extra insurance (already booked on the rental website). Her attitude became extremely cold. Additionally, she treated us unfairly with the deposit; she asked for 500 euros from me, but later I saw an American couple with the same car and duration only needing to pay a 200-dollar deposit (I saw their rental slip in the garage). Moreover, the quoted prices for the same car and rental period were absurdly different when I inquired later. Fortunately, the staff in the garage were very helpful and assisted me a lot.
Apart from the annoying upsells, everything was fine. We got two booster seats (without backrests) for children. We booked a car similar to a Sharan and received a brand new (15000 km) Renault Intiale. The electronic control system is comprehensive, featuring power folding seats in the last two rows, a power tailgate, keyless entry, auto-lock, a heads-up display, automatic speed and distance recognition, and an emergency brake system (which we didn't need to use). There's also a touch screen the size of an iPad with excellent navigation, much more reliable than a phone's GPS, likely capable of estimating the position in tunnels based on the car's mileage.
The return process was a little unclear as I was asked to sign an electronic device but not told what I was signing for. Also still not seen if my deposit has been refunded.
At pick up was advised of a massive excess if I didn't purchase further cover. I have annual cover so declined
