The car was wrecked. It had a cigarette burn on the seat and sand in the back seat. We tried to exchange it at the airport but it was a disaster.

Because we had a lot of luggage, we booked a mid-to-large car (Chevrolet Malibu). However, at pickup, they could only provide a compact car (Volkswagen Jetta), so we had to fold down part of the rear seat to fit the luggage.

The car we received was a downgrade, without prior notice. We were told our reserved car was unavailable, yet we saw someone who picked up their car after us driving our reserved model! It was extremely frustrating.

Waited in line for 1 hour, and during check-in, they said a lot of things I didn't understand. After returning the car, my credit card was charged another 96 dollars. I'm currently disputing it... Previously, with DoLe Rent a Car, they just checked my passport and driver's license and gave me the car. Even with the same budget, different platforms can vary so much.
