Like: Car was low mileage and in good condition. Staff were friendly and efficient. Dislike: High excess - There was an opportunity to lower it to zero but the additional cost meant the hire deal would not have been competitive.
Due to a flight delay of over an hour, we arrived at 10:30 PM. Hertz said someone would be at the counter, but there was no one there. European Car next door told us to come back the next day. We tried calling the rental service but got no answer. The next day, Hertz said the reservation had been canceled and no car was reserved for us. The rental service has yet to refund our deposit! Very dissatisfied! I will not recommend this rental service or Hertz to friends!
Had an upgrade which was appreciated as my car had broken down and daughter getting married that day. Faff around as car not full and had to get original guy to confirm on return this was case
