An offer of the lowest price for the six months proceeding, when booking a car hire late.

Not bad, took only two minutes to pick up the car. Self-service return, just park in the spot and hand over the keys.

Although there were some sales pitches, they were within a normal range and you can just decline. The attitude was still good.

Both of the staff excellent, helped a lot, give a good explanation, especially when we returned the car, we are in hurry to catch the train to Paris, he willing to help & send us to the nearest train station, if not we definitely will missed the train.. tq so much!

The car was advertised as an SUV - but was a normal vehicle. 100% not an SUV

The car was a new large MG with lather seats. Very good condition and clean.

Staff arrived to work 15 minutes after the desk opening times. All other rental desks were operational from 8AM except Budget who started at 9 (well 9:15). That was very annoying!

The people working were very good. Especially the guy on the return. Quick, efficient, polite. Will aim to rent with these guys again

Although I wasn’t a fan of the manufacturing quality of the MG I had, I was grateful for the upgrade to automatic and the friendliness of Mark at the desk when I picked up and dropped off the car

The iOS app is good. It could be improved by being able to save favourite companies so you don’t have to manually select them every time a search is done. The website is not as good as it used to be. Annoying you can’t list cars by order of price.

Staff overselling upgrades and unable to process deposit due to machine error twice

Great customer service on collection and return of the vehicle. Originally rented from Europcar but got refused due to some new rule that a random check has to be done on the driver. Budget were more than accommodating and their customer service makes me want to return

Helpful team and efficient

The only slight comment is a the use of the 24 hour clock would be good.

I was given a free upgrade to a Mercedes EQC, but the service experience was terrible. They deliberately delayed the process, suggesting I pay for the upgrade. Only when I insisted, they offered it for free. I didn't even want the upgrade, wasting much of my time. After returning the car, I received a fine with a handling fee of £40, which is ridiculously expensive. The fine could be paid at half price within fourteen days, but they sent it to me on the fourteenth day, forcing me to pay the full price.

Excellent team, if you are a newbie just ask which bus stop you have to get off at and also ask the bus driver to let you know when to get off.
