You can arrive of Easirent - Gatwick Airport car rental by free shuttle bus.

Arriving by air travel: Please collect from our office located at, Sofitel London Gatwick, North Terminal, Gatwick Airport, RH6 0PH (Front Entrance downstairs in the hotel). Our offices are just a 2-minute walk from the North terminal, and 5 minutes from the South Terminal, and Gatwick’s train station, by the free monorail. Arriving at Gatwick Airport by train: The nearest stations to our Gatwick branch are located at Gatwick Airport, Ifield and Crawley. Travel to London Victoria in only 30 minutes via Gatwick Express or take a direct train to Brighton. Arriving at Gatwick Airport by bus: Most services operate from the lower South Terminal forecourt.

Drop-off Instructions

Our branch is located at the Gatwick Airport North terminal arrival, inside the Sofitel Hotel, ground floor. To drop off your car please follow Airport indications for Arrivals – Drop off / Hotels, turn right to the Approved Operator (Premier Inn / Sofitel). Just after the tunnel connecting the Sofitel Hotel to the Airport terminal and before the Premier Inn hotel, you will find the gated entrance for the car park. Please drive through and you will find our car park on the right-hand side. Our offices are just a 2-minute walk from the North terminal, and 5 minutes from the South Terminal, and Gatwick’s train station, by the free monorail.

    My flight was delayed by 5 hours because of the drones at Gatwick. When I got to the rental place they had given my car away as they thought I was a NO SHOW. They must have known the airport had been closed and the flights were delayed. They would not honour my booking and said that they could give me another car but i would have to pay more. I had travelled from Australia that day because my father was unwell and had to get to Essex asap. I felt under pressure and paid additional monies to get on my way. The staff were most unhelpful and i wasnt the only one who thought this. There were a few of us waiting for cars to pick up at the same time whose flights had been delayed. Will not be using them again. Total rip off. BEWARE.

    The car (a peugeot 308 Auto) was very good apart from the fitted dash cam which was only stuck on the windscreen, kept coming unstuck and swinging under the mirror. Had to tuck it under the mirror in the end as was a distraction. Take photos of any marks/damage to wheels or bodywork before accepting car to prove innocence on returning. To be fair, Ben suggested that I do that for my protection. Also the Service warning light kept coming on suggesting a service was overdue but still a nice car.

    The car had a wheel hubcap missing, dents, chip marks in the paint all around the vehicle and was not as expected. The clutch biting point on this car was at the very top of the pedal and it did not drive as expected.

    The car had some minor problems (squeaky clutch pedal, satellite locator that unstuck regularly from windscreen) Staff are not overly helpful and you have to be very careful about extra costs and inflexibility (any modification to rental agreement costs a lot) Very infrequent bus shuttle to airport makes delivery highly stressful

    I had 2 people with limited mobility travelling with me. The car was supposed to be ready from 3pm, and it was 4.50pm when it was ready. 10 minutes for it to be ready became 1 hour. Car was waiting to be cleaned, while other cars that were not waiting for rental were being cleaned. Staff had no interest in expediting the cleaning of the car until I eventually lost my patience. A very bad customer service experience.

    They only had a nine seater minibus for me when I’d booked a medium sized car but luckily one was returned late so I didn’t have to drive around London in a minibus! Counter staff were good and I enjoyed driving the Renault Captur. Rental was cheap but Easirent was hard to find and you need to allow an hour to get there from Gatwick Airport. I’d use them again now that I know where they are and how to get there!

    The car was good - a Skoda estate. My issue was the £55 they automatically charged for processing (in effect passing on) an erroneous car parking fee. Not happy about this - I guess read the small print; it was I’m sure in there. It’s a bit of trek by shuttle bus to the back of the crown plaza hotel in Crawley- show the driver your booking to waiver the bus charge. They are infrequent- 2 / hour - so check times. Don’t forget you need a *credit* card with your address matching your drivers licence and £1500 to be blocked out, or you will get royally screwed for insurance charges. Good luck!

    We notified the car rental company in advance about picking up the car late, but were told that there were no cars available unless we paid £15 per day for an upgrade. Even though we had already purchased full insurance through the platform, the rental company still forced us to buy additional insurance for £39 per day. Additionally, although we booked a vehicle with a full tank policy, a £95 fuel deposit was still taken. Without purchasing the additional insurance, our Visa card was not accepted; after paying £195 for the insurance, we didn't need to upgrade the car, place a deposit, and our Visa card worked fine. After using the car for 2 days, we refueled according to the rental agreement but ended up putting in the wrong type of fuel. On February 26th, with the help of passersby, we contacted the rental company. A rescue team arrived in the afternoon but couldn't fix the car and transported us to Bath, promising to pick us up the next morning to exchange the car at a nearby airport. The next day, we waited on the streets of Bath in below-freezing temperatures until 5 PM when the rescue team finally arrived. At this point, it was too late; we had to drive to our next destination, Windsor, for 3 hours in the night, which was too much for me as a 62-year-old. We canceled the rest of our trip and, with the help of passersby and the rescue team, took a bus back to London. We request the rental company to: 1) Apologize and compensate us for the suffering; 2) Cover the following economic losses: 1. Refund the Windsor accommodation fee of ¥627.98 for the 28th; 2. Refund the £26 transportation fee (since we had already purchased return tickets for March 1st, the £26 incurred on the 28th should be covered by the rental company); 3. Refund 2/5 of the rental fee; 4. Refund the so-called upgraded insurance fee of £195; 5. Refund the corresponding fuel deposit.
