It was okay, but the staff failed to find that I had already paid the full rental fee, which seemed unprofessional.

When picking up the car, it felt unprepared. The car was retrieved from the city, we waited for more than half an hour, the car was very old, had over 50,000 kilometers on it, and the seats were very dirty.

The service throughout was friendly, and there was no excessive upselling of insurance. They merely pointed out that our insurance was inadequate but didn't press further once we mentioned we had purchased it on a domestic platform. One shortcoming, however, was that the staff did not check the tire pressure. After driving for a day, the tire pressure warning light came on. Initially, we thought the tire might be punctured, but upon inspection, it turned out the pressure was too high. After releasing some air and resetting the gauge, everything was fine.

The car provided for pickup was an Elantra, and its condition was quite good. It has low fuel consumption, making it completely sufficient for travel around Riyadh without adding mileage. Most parking spots are in free parking lots.

There were many people renting cars, but we had prepaid through QEEQ, so the car pickup was fast.

The provided vehicle had all four tires worn out. One of them, the front right tire, was damaged and had to be replaced, costing 160 SAR (approximately 320 RMB). When informed at the repair shop, the rental company dismissed it, saying it was not a big deal, leaving the issue for the next renter. Truly disappointing.

Overall, very satisfied. The only issue was the document process for picking up the car, which took 20 minutes and was slower than in China. Everything else was great.

Can you believe it? Renting a car in Riyadh, the capital, with all the necessary procedures completed, took over 3 to 4 hours! Having to pay a deposit of 2500 SAR was acceptable, but they took almost from 11 PM to nearly 3 AM to finish processing and hand over the car! Every time someone came by, the staff stopped working just to chat with them! It's more horrifying than 'lightning's 'hahaha'! And if you think that's the end, the real nightmare comes later. When returning the car, we handed the keys to the staff inspecting the car in the parking lot, completed all procedures at the counter, confirmed multiple times that everything was fine, and then left. However, when I went to rent another car in the next city, they told me I hadn't returned the keys! I requested the staff to make a phone call to confirm, but they directly refused and told me to make the call myself. After much effort, I contacted them through the rental platform, and they finally acknowledged it was a misunderstanding. Yet, renting again took another three hours!

The experience was quite good. I took the only sedan available to a place known as the Edge of the World. The roads were manageable, though the washboard surface required driving at a slower pace.

The staff's English proficiency is poor, but everything else is quite good.

The vehicle broke down, and no one answered the phone when I called. The car was parked at my apartment in Jeddah, and it wouldn't start. I tried calling the rental company, but no one answered, leaving me to figure it out on my own. Luckily, there are many helpful people in Saudi Arabia. A kind person inspected the car and told me the battery was low. They drove me to buy a jumper cable set for 40 SAR. With the battery from their own car, we jump-started mine, and the issue was resolved.

My previous rental experiences from Budget were very good, however this time the model / brand i booked was not available. instead of upgrading my booking to a better model they gave me a smaller car for the same price.

It took us almost 2 hours to find the car return location. There were no signs at all. We ended up going into the airport to find someone to help us drive to the Hertz return area. No one assisted us, and it was impossible to locate by ourselves. (I've rented cars in many countries multiple times, but this is the only time I couldn't find the return location!) Although I purchased full insurance, they still charged me 251 lira for scratches when returning the car. Ridiculous.

The attitude of the staff was extremely poor and communication was difficult. We rented two cars, and one of the renters had an on-arrival visa. They entered Saudi Arabia through the manual toll lane, and the border police stamped their passport without providing any receipt. As a result, the car pickup was refused. With the help of customer service from the rental platform, they agreed that we could pick up the car if we obtained an entry code. We went back to the border police, got the entry code, and returned to the rental counter. However, the staff then claimed the code was invalid and again refused to let us pick up the car. Interestingly, other rental companies accepted this code without issue, and we ended up renting a car from another company. The car pickup process was exhausting and wasted most of our day. Even worse, when returning the car, despite the vehicle being in good condition with no damages and more fuel than when we rented it, the counter insisted on charging us 2,532 Saudi riyals. This was excessive since we only exceeded the mileage by a little over 1,000 kilometers, which should have amounted to no more than 800 riyals as agreed. When I requested an explanation for the extra charges, the employee shouted loudly, confiscated my inspection and vehicle return receipt, and even attempted to restrict my personal freedom. To ensure my safety and avoid further impacting my schedule, I had no choice but to find a way to leave the situation. The resolution of this will depend on the platform handling the case afterward.

The airport is small, but the efficiency is quite high.

The company charged my credit card arbitrarily after the fact and misinterpreted the contract terms. I rented the car for seven days and returned it on the seventh day, but the free 250 km for the seventh day was not accounted for. A few days after the return, they deducted fees for the 250 km mileage from my credit card without notifying me or obtaining my consent. This issue remains unresolved. If you're traveling to Saudi Arabia, avoid renting from this company at all costs. I've rented cars in many countries, but I've never encountered behavior like this from a rental company.

Very good, the process was relatively quick, and the service was excellent! However, Budget has too few car models and limited availability, with just one row of cars. In comparison, Lumi has four rows and allows direct counter rentals.

Budget at Jeddah Airport is suspected of contract fraud. The rental fee was already paid through the platform, but they charged again. Trusting Budget, I didn't carefully check the rental contract, only to realize the double charges when returning the car. Be cautious when renting from Budget at Jeddah Airport.

The car wasn't full of fuel when I picked it up, and they wouldn't refund me the extra fuel I added when returning it. After some arguments, they said the fuel cost covered the overtime fee, so I didn't have to pay it. In reality, they actually lost 15 SAR. I really can't understand the logic of Saudis.
