It was a great choice to rent a car in Fiji as it gave us total freedom to get around. Taxis are plentiful but also become expensive when traveling between villages and tourist destinations. The Nadi Europcar team was awesome and the whole experience was hassle-free.

We booked our car rental from budget.com on 17 Nov and end up we were told that the car we booked having technical issue problem and they requested to use another car rental company with additional price top up. However, this bad experience did not happen on Europcar and we were quite impressed with the free upgrade to Volkswagen Polo. Well done Europcar.

The similar (term used lightly) vehicle offered was an SUV, this wasn’t capable at doing the unmarked road safely! So the fact that I didn’t really get the car I paid for pretty much ruined the holiday as we were constantly worrying that if it rained we would probably be stuck. Thanks for charging me for a car that I clearly didn’t get to use. Where you advertise a car or one similar, it would be nice if you actually adhered to this! I paid for a 4x4 and got an standard SUV! The reduction in price for the SUV was minimal, I feel I was ripped off and the local office were useless at trying to resolve the fact that the 4x4 wasn’t available!

Noisy, no screenwash, wipers in bad state. Full to full - forget it. Good thing you don't have to worry about returning a car as you will never return it in worse condition than you took it and no one bothers to check it when returning. After negotiating, we had to drive the given car to the hotel first, then they brought another car of the same type from our order to the hotel for exchange.
This car rental experience was very unpleasant.
They did not provide the agreed model but gave me an old jeep instead. Soon after driving, the tire had problems. The Europcar staff personally replaced it with a Mitsubishi Pajero that had over 140,000 km, in poor condition with a lot of noise. It was night when I swapped the car, so I couldn't thoroughly check for damages or cleanliness. The staff assured me there was no issue unless there was major damage. On returning the car, another staff pointed out scratches and charged me FJD 25 for a car wash, even though I had taken insurance when picking up the car. The car's condition during return was no different from when I rented it.
The service attitude was acceptable, but the timing was not well managed. We had to wait for more than 40 minutes for the car to arrive. Other than that, no issues.

Q2. How can I add an addtional driver?
You are advised to make a request upon your arrival at the rental counter. Additional charge per day will incur unless '1 Additional Driver Included' is stipulated on the rental. Please note that the same licence and age requirement applys to the additonal driver. The addtional driver is supposed to present the required licence document along with the main driver at pickup.
Q3.What if I want to pick up or drop off my rental car out of office hours?

If you want to pick up your car in one country and drop it in another, your search results will show you cars you can do that with. Yes. You can pick up the vehicle in one place and drop it off in another. An ‘one-way fee’ will incur. Please inform the car hire company of your drop-off location when you pick up the vehicle or contact them directly during your trip.
