DOLLAR CAR RENTAL REVIEWS IN SWITZERLAND

Handled by Hertz counter, very efficient.

Needed to add CHF35 for secure free road-call from France. It was no expected in other car rentals also in Geneva and the car is to France

Like: Vehicle was even better than what we had booked. All the features possible and super comfortable
Dislike: Not directly the fault of the hire car company but our credit card had a problem and this meant we had to pay an extra AU$270 for an insurance cover because I used a debit card.

I had a minor scratch of the rim of the front right tyre and is now waiting for the documents for claiming my full comprehensive insurance with eastrentcars. This is a bit tedious and Hertz is not very helpful.

Like: Good efficient Service - car and service provided by Hertz. Good quality car and in good condition.
Dislike: Car was provided by Hertz - at a much lower price than I could book it as a Hertz Gold Customer with a discount - same car same people!

The car was not the one we requested (Alfa Romeo) but I understood we would be given that or an equivalent car. The car we got was excellent.

Price drop didn't work it's magic but i was satisfied with the deal i got.

Honestly,this is my first time booking through EasyRentCars and to my surprise it was excellent. At first I had a skeptical thoughts because as others said, book only from official website Europcar, Sixt, Hertz etc big company, cuz it will not give headache. Cuz Dollar is not very big names like others,but it is managed by Hertz so it was no problem at all. During collecting my car was great cuz the staff very friendly and helpful. She upgrade from my Ford Focus estate to Mazda CX5 with addition CHF10 per day..and ad hoc add in second driver for CHF50 only, I got the brand new car with only 8km milage..just a new born baby for me

EasyRentCars platform was a great one out of all and the price drop protector was really make a magic for me who wants a better price. Plus the voucher also help reduce the total fee which is always a bonus for newbie like me. I have no problems with EasyRentCars, great.

Despite having booked a wagon-size car by mistake the staff were able to change to a standard car for me. Unfortunately this one had little torque so was not very good on mountain passes. :-(

The counter for pick up at geneva was excellent. I tried to add and additional driver but was told that such a driver was to be present. Since my son was flying into Amsterdam the next day I was told that he could go to any Dollar or Hertz counter and ask them to update the record. When my son arrived in Amsterdam he tried to have Hertz update the record, Hertz called Geneva and the geneva supervisor refused to update the record. I eventually talked to the agent who had given me the info and she updated the record. Cudo's for Ms KAOUTHAR. Excellent service provider.

I love the car I rented. It was a pleasure driving it.

The steward who served me when I returned the car was very friendly and helpful. It was a delight interacting with him.

Mislead by easyrentcars.com on the car I'd be getting. Won't use easyrentcars.com for anything except the cheapest type of vehicle.

Arrived earlier than scheduled, but the staff was nice enough to accommodate our needs by substituting our car with another one to save us hours of waiting.

If I have to find a problem, the tires' pressures were set higher than recommended and weren't symmetrical.

The car given was a brand new Opel Grandland X. Fully loaded car with great comfort of driving. The landy at reception counter was very prompt and cooperative.

Great range of vehicle and service providers and very competitive pricing.
