Great service, they provided a free map and were very helpful. Thumbs up! We used a 2014 overseas version of the Qashqai—it was excellent. Diesel in Turkey is very efficient. Make sure to fill up only half a tank the first time, or you'll end up wasting money.
The local company's service was excellent. They cleaned the car thoroughly, and they waited for us at the airport for a long time with a sign, even though there was misinformation. We didn't have to wait to return the car; we just handed it over to the hotel staff. When we forgot something in the car, they even called us back to retrieve it.
It was a terrible experience. I booked a car from downtown, but when I called, the staff told me they had closed the location but could send a car from the airport to my hotel. I told them my hotel was far from downtown but I was in downtown at that time. Unfortunately, their English was not good enough to understand me. They asked me to go back to the hotel and wait, but after waiting for 1.5 hours, they told me they couldn't do it unless I paid an extra charge! I could have waited in downtown if they had asked. Then they just canceled the booking without any communication. When I called back, they said they couldn't speak English! Thankfully, the hotel staff helped us book another car, but it completely ruined the day! And their attitude was awful.
We originally booked an SUV, but there were none available when we arrived at the store, which was very frustrating. They upgraded us to a BMW, and we were quite satisfied with this resolution.
The service was very good, the car was great, and the price was reasonable. Overall, very satisfied. However, the payment was not in euros but converted to lira.
Almira doesn't have a service point or counter at Kayseri Airport. An Almira staff member drove a Jetta to pick us up. After driving no more than two or three hundred meters from the airport, the staff member pulled over. He told us that the Jetta we were brought in was the car we rented. I showed him our reservation for a diesel Nissan Qashqai, but he said they only had this one, as the car we rented got into an accident and couldn't be delivered :(
It's a local small to medium car rental company. The service is average, and the staff's English is generally passable but barely sufficient for communication. The price is reasonable.
Incorrect pick-up information. They only have a pick-up point at Antalya Airport, but the website indicated there was one in downtown, causing me to book the wrong hotel and pay an extra 15 euros to get the car. The staff member was also over an hour late when returning the car, and none of the phone numbers, including the emergency ones, were answered. Eventually, I had to call back to domestic. The car itself was decent.
The highway HGS card charged 20 euros, but we actually used less than 5 lira. They didn't refund it when we returned the car.
