After arriving at the airport, I called EZU, and they quickly sent a car to pick us up. The staff at the store were very friendly and patiently answered some of my questions. The return process was also very quick, taking only a few minutes, and the staff even drove us to the airport.
This would have to be the worst car rental experience that I have ever experienced having rented cars in most continents. I will recommend everyone NOT renting from EZU.
Firstly, it took well over 30 mins for the van to pick us up from the airport.
Then the car given to us was over 10 years old and had over 210k kms on the clock. We picked the car up at night. Inside the car was a mess and I didn’t even want to sit in the car as it was filthy with 10 years of grime on the inside..
The rental form had that there were no defects on the car and given that we couldn’t see at night we looked the next morning. It would be lucky if any panels of the car weren’t scratched.
We could barely get the car over 80 kms per hour and the car would then start to shake making the car very unsafe.
We called the office to complain about these things and never got a return phone call.
Having rented a lot of cars over the world, I am sorry to say that this is by far the worst experience that I have ever had.
The only positive comment is that your team didn’t try and claim damage insurance on the car when I returned.
