I did wait in an endless line (at least 4 times as long as any on the other agencies counters), but I've got a higher category car than I booked (for the same price), and they honored my request to provide a car which had a recent oil change, because I was up for a long drive.
After purchasing full insurance (including one additional driver), the rental agreement still indicated an extra driver fee at the time of pickup. During the trip, I added engine oil as per the guidance provided by the rental platform, but it took several days and assistance from the after-sales team to reimburse me for the oil cost. Although all issues have been resolved, the process was quite unpleasant.
I booked a Chrysler 300 (or similar), but at the AVIS counter, we were informed that the car Rent-a-Car booked for us wasn't of that class, and they showed us the system page. Therefore, they could only offer us a Chevrolet 4-seater or a similar model. The agent told us that if we wanted to get the Chrysler 300, we needed to pay for an upgrade, otherwise, we could only get a 4-seater. Although Rent-a-Car's customer service promised to handle this issue after our call, AVIS froze a portion of our card funds and later sent us a bill at the end of the trip...
The only thing I missed was the info abt the sunshine card which I paid for. The info was that you could go through all tollgates in without stopping.
The message behind the mirror that I should activate I missed for the first days which resulted in add. penalties.
