I ended up paying a garage to get the car started as the process with Avis failed badly.

Picked up the car on October 1st, but received a car whose inspection expired in September. Got stopped by the police halfway for a prolonged check because it was illegally on the road. They were lenient enough not to impound the car immediately and allowed us to drive to an AVIS location an hour away to swap the car. Such a mistake is simply unprofessional.

I somehow managed to create a double booking. I thought the double was cancelled a long time ago and was surprised to find out it wasn’t. Luckily the easyrentcars system cancelled it automatically.

Dislike: Drop off wasn’t the greatest but it was before they opened and the lot is small Convenient drop box for keys
