Since it was a new car, we didn't inspect it too much. But judging from the logbook at the airport pickup and return point, if it's not a new car, it should be thoroughly checked.

During pickup, the attendant just threw me the keys and left. I had to call him back three times. It was 11 PM, very dark, and the inspection was rushed. It was my first time renting a car and I had no experience. My local SIM card didn't have signal (though it was a VIP card). During return, they even took photos under the vehicle saying there were scratches. There was an old, tiny rusted scratch that they claimed was my fault. If it were indeed my fault, I'd own up to it, but I've been driving for 13 years and would know. Though I'm a female driver, I drive 5000 km annually on rough roads in Yunnan-Guizhou, China. My skills are not bad.

About Europcar: 2.0 /10
When I went to pick up the car around 9 AM, there was no one at the counter, and I had to wait for half an hour. When I returned the car, I found that one of the front left mud flaps was damaged, which is not part of the front bumper. However, during checkout, they insisted that this mud flap was part of the front bumper and asked for compensation of over 400 euros. This is ridiculous! A part that costs less than 200 RMB to repair was claimed to be part of the front bumper, warranting a repair fee for the whole front bumper (around 3000 RMB). I am very dissatisfied with the staff's judgment on parts, as they take the opportunity to overcharge and create extra revenue! For a company that relies on reputation and service, this is contradictory to their principles. This isn't malicious slander, but the truth! I hope everyone considers the integrity of this company when renting a car. Thank you!

The price didn't match what was advertised on the website. The site mentioned a charge of 4.8 euros per day for crossing the border. We only needed the car for two days in Montenegro but were told to pay a maximum charge of 48 euros for ten days (even though we were renting the car for only eight days). The reason given was that they couldn't know how many days we would be abroad, despite entry and exit records clearly showing this. It felt like an overcharge.
