I was supposed to pick up the Benz GLE at 11:00, but it was not available until 18:00. Fortunately, the store arranged a Mitsubishi for me to use in the city, but it did delay my schedule a bit. I hope this can be improved. During this period, I contacted the rental service, but they couldn't resolve it either.
The rental company had poor service. I left sunglasses worth nearly ten thousand yuan in the car when returning it. Half an hour later, when I went back to retrieve them, the company claimed there were no items left in the car! There also seemed to be clear discrimination against Chinese people.
They blamed me for past car damage. When I rented the car, I pointed out the scratches, and the staff told me minor scratches didn't matter. In the end, they charged me 3300 AUD when I returned the car home. This company is a scam. I will never rent from them again. Their integrity is terrible.
It was a little tricky to find the pick up point as there were no signs in the airport however this wasn’t thrifty’s fault
