Thrifty Car rentals did not recognise the Easy Rent brand and sent us to the wrong counter.

When returning the car, they didn't explain the reason but charged over $180. I only found out after getting home and seeing the credit card charge. I contacted customer service, but no one responded. The service is particularly poor. I will never rent a car from this company again. It's better to spend a bit more and go with a reputable company.

They said they could only provide an electric car, even though we had specified we were going to Canada. We had no choice but to upgrade for $30 a day and the only option was a pickup truck. The truck bed had no cover, so we had to keep our luggage in the back seat. It guzzled gas, so we changed our plans and went to the airport to swap cars after eight days. We then got a Toyota Venza.
