I wanted to book for Los Angeles but ended up booking for San Francisco.

It was my first time renting a car abroad, so I was a bit confused initially. However, after carefully reading the instructions, I managed to find the rental place without any issues. PS: Good English skills are necessary to avoid communication barriers.

The wait time for picking up the car was quite long. I was charged a high fuel service fee of $40 for not refueling the car before returning it.

We rented a 5-seater SUV in San Francisco. They asked if we wanted a 7-seater since there were only two of us, but we declined. However, the staff still gave us a 7-seater (probably because there were no 5-seaters left). I asked if there was any extra charge, and they said no. When we returned the car at LA Airport five days later, I found an extra charge of $59.75 on my receipt for the upgrade. They told me to contact San Francisco for any disputes. I called San Francisco and explained the situation; they promised a refund. I haven't received it yet, but I will continue to follow up.
