I rented from Thrifty and waited in line for a bit. I'm not very good at English, but the staff wrote down key information for me, including the total insurance amount (required for those under 25), deposit fees, return time, etc. They didn't try to upsell additional services.
The lady at the rental counter was very friendly and talkative. Later interactions with other staff, including during the return process, went smoothly without much waiting. Thumbs up!
Our English is limited, but the car rental staff were friendly and explained everything patiently. There were five staff members handling orders, so the process was quick and the wait time was short.
They blamed me for past car damage. When I rented the car, I pointed out the scratches, and the staff told me minor scratches didn't matter. In the end, they charged me 3300 AUD when I returned the car home. This company is a scam. I will never rent from them again. Their integrity is terrible.
Highly recommend, staff were nice and gave us an upgrade, smooth pick up and drop off, no hassle
