It's actually the local company Locauto. The staff are very efficient, provide clear instructions, and I'm very satisfied. Both picking up and returning the car were relatively easy.
When picking up the car, they replaced it with another Volkswagen gasoline model without any pressure to upsell insurance. Returning the car was also smooth, and there were no claims of damage or additional charges afterward.

No problem with car hire - but no formal email confirmation of contract completion - with thanks for returning keys in box - with updated mileage.
Rather than wait another 30 minutes for my car to be ready, I paid €30 for an upgrade.
The car was new, but when I stopped in the Alps to fit the snow chains I ordered, there were none in the car.
This made the rest of the trip quite worrying.
