The car pickup in Los Angeles was quite smooth; DAN handled the car rental procedures without any hassle. When we reached the pickup location, there were no JEEP Grand Cherokees available, which was a bit disappointing, so we opted for a Nissan Pathfinder instead.
Returning the car was fast, but the provided return address couldn't be found using Google Maps or other maps commonly used in the US. It would direct you to another address 3-4 kilometers away.
1. The airport shuttle vehicles are convenient and easy to identify, which is great for first-time visitors to the US. There are pickup points at every exit.
2. The pick-up and drop-off procedures are straightforward. Picking up the car took about 15 minutes due to some questions about options, but once done, we headed out to pick up the car and left. For drop-off, we drove to the inspection area. Although it was 8 PM and there were queues, there were many inspectors and the process was quick, with the inspection and receipt printed within 2 minutes. No further waiting was needed.
