Alamo is a well-established company that operates efficiently. They only ask once if you need additional insurance, and if you say no, they won't push it further.
The staff did not try to sell us any insurance. They just asked how many people we had, and upon learning that we had a larger group, they recommended a bigger car. At first, I thought it was a sales tactic, but they showed us the car we initially booked—it really wasn't big enough for our luggage. We ended up paying extra to upgrade to a larger car. Not sure if there was a discount, but it was sufficient.
Picking up and returning the car was very convenient. The rental company has a large selection of cars, so there's plenty to choose from when picking up the car.
