The staff were very rude. They charged me £5 per day for an upgrade because I arrived 15 minutes late. We had a lot of luggage and had no choice but to accept it. The staff even told us that it was obvious we needed a car at the time. I was speechless. The baby seat fee was a complete rip-off. I booked a booster seat for £10/day, but they said my 3-year-old couldn't use that and charged me £13/day for a baby seat. I trusted his professional advice. However, the company only had two very dirty baby seats, which were ultimately unusable. As a result, I opted for the originally booked booster seat. Upon final billing, the company refused to acknowledge the price difference. They charged me £117 for 8 days, overcharging me by £37. They also refused to provide a refund. When returning the car, the staff quickly and professionally found paint damage within 3 minutes – one spot on the door about the size of a pen tip and another small, not-so-obvious spot on the front. I must admit, his professionalism here was impressive. The car wasn't cleaned when we picked it up, and in the constantly rainy UK weather, it was hard to tell if the specks were raindrops or paint chips. I accidentally scratched the tire rim while driving, but the damage wasn’t severe. They ended up charging me £544.80 for the damage. I'll upload photos later for everyone to see. Honestly, the car renting experience was very bad. I will not book here again; it’s a rip-off. Remember the license plate of the car I used, so you won't get scammed again.

I have used Green Motion a number of times and have always had a good experience bar picking up the car which always seems to take a while. However during this rental period I was left feeling very disappointed and angry with Green Motion. Upon leaving the car, I was told it was too dirty (I had used the car on a couple of country roads and the motorway) and as it’s winter and it has been raining there is dirt on the roads so the car had mud splashes and mud debris from the pushchair inside the car. I was told that due to this the car would need to be valeted at a cost of £96. I had a flight to catch so could not take the car to clean it myself. Had I been made aware that the car needs to be returned clean, I would have cleaned it myself. Never have I been told that a car I have used is too dirty. I was gob smacked and pissed off at the charge. So much so that I will not use this company again.
I have booked with Green Motion twice now - never again.
The only rental company to ask for proof of address document - drivers licence is not enough.
Staff are surly and do not seem to care.
Phone numbers are supplied - but do not work or are never answered.
Never again.
Bit expensive once you add unlimited miles. Dodgy petrol metre so ended up spending extra 10 quid cause it wasnt full at pick up.
