The service at AVIS was barely acceptable, but some issues were not resolved in a timely manner. The vehicle pickup process at the store was cumbersome and we had some unnecessary trouble with the staff. Although my order clearly included the fee for a second driver, the staff insisted that they couldn't find this in the order and overcharged me by $70 billion. However, the QEEQ platform staff provided strong support and resolved the issue satisfactorily in the end.

The staff from AVIS was rude when I rented the car. My contract included a GPS, but they didn’t provide it proactively. They also gave me a car with some minor issues. Thankfully, as an experienced renter, I could handle it. However, newcomers might not receive good service.

However, we had booked a Ford Edge SUV, but the staff at the counter told us that it was no longer available and insisted we upgrade to a Dodge SUV for an extra $5 per day. We saw similar complaints online before our trip, but had no choice but to pay the extra and take the car. However, when we got to the pick-up area, we saw a Ford Edge available, which left us feeling quite upset. It turns out that even big companies like AVIS in the US aren't always reliable.
