There was a queue when picking up the car, but everything else was very convenient.

We are 4 adults and 2 kids, and rented a 7-seater SUV on a car rental website. When we arrived at ALAMO in the USA, they told us the trunk space wasn't big enough and asked us to pay $490 to upgrade to a Dodge minivan. When we requested to see the car, they said none were available at the moment. We called the car rental website's customer service to negotiate, but the rental company's attitude was very impatient. Because we were pressed for time, we had to pay the $490. Including the ¥4152 paid on the website, renting the car for 6 days cost over ¥7000. We felt cheated!

No upselling of insurance. Not too many smiles. The process was fairly efficient.

There are many customers renting cars. If you know how to use the self-service machine, you almost don't need to wait in line. I rented a Nissan Altima, which has average condition with over 30,000 miles on it. The car has a noticeable alignment issue and hasn't been well-maintained.

The front desk said the booked car model was not available and tried to upsell a more expensive model instead of trying to solve the issue within the booking terms!
