You can walk to the counter of Enterprise - Madrid Barajas International Airport car rental.

For arrivals in Terminals 1, 2 and 3 proceed towards Terminal 1. Exit the terminal building, cross the street and you will find the Car Rental cabin located in the car park. Upon arrival in Terminal 4 head to the ground floor. Walk past the Car Rental desks and head directly outside to the car park. Once in the car park, turn left and head to the end of the car park where you will find the Car Rental booth.

The Enterprise office at Madrid Airport is actually located at the far edge of the P1 parking lot outside of T1 terminal. The staff were very friendly and the procedures were handled swiftly. The requested car wasn't in P1, so they had to bring it over from P4, which took about ten minutes.

Dishonest store, they tricked me into buying insurance, taking advantage of the fact that I don't understand Spanish. When picking up the car, I said I didn't want it, but during the contract signing they had me sign this and that. I believed them and signed everything. It turned out I had actually signed for the insurance. They were very sneaky about it, putting the insurance and rental agreements on the same paper, so you wouldn't know you've signed for the insurance. In the end, they charged me 200 Euros for the insurance. Truly shameless.

Very efficient service, both renting and exchanging cars were very quick. Even though there was a scratch, it only took 20 minutes and there were no extra charges. However, the damage assessment took longer, which is typical in Europe where even settling a bill can take 30 minutes.
