Q1.What is an insurance excess?
The excess is the amount you'll only be liable for in case of damage(under Collision Damage Waiver) or theft(under Theft Protection) of the vehicle.
Information about the excess will be clearly stated in the price inclusion when you reserve a car on QEEQ.
Q2. How can I add an addtional driver?
You are advised to make a request upon your arrival at the rental counter. Additional charge per day will incur unless '1 Additional Driver Included' is stipulated on the rental.
Please note that the same licence and age requirement applys to the additonal driver. The addtional driver is supposed to present the required licence document along with the main driver at pickup.
Q3.What if I want to pick up or drop off my rental car out of office hours?
QEEQ will show you the car offers available at your chosen time on the search results.
However, pick-up or drop-off out of general opening hours may subject to an extra fee unless self-service pick-up or drop-off is available.
After you reserve a car on QEEQ, we will inform you of specific policy of the car hire company by email.
Q4. Can I take the hired car to another country or cross border?
If you want to pick up your car in one country and drop it in another, your search results will show you cars you can do that with.
If you're planning to cross any borders during your trip, bear in mind:
1. You may have to pay more.
There are often extra fees, taxes or additional cover you'll pay at the car hire counter.
2.It may not be allowed.
Depending on where you're hiring, you may not be able to take your car to another country.
Please email us if you want to take your hire car into a different country during your trip, and we'll talk you through your options.
Q5. Can I pick up my car at one location and return it at different location?
Yes. You can pick up the vehicle in one place and drop it off in another. An ‘one-way fee’ will incur. Whether it is inclued in the rental price or what additional cost may arise will be clearly stated at the time of booking on QEEQ.
Please inform the car hire company of your drop-off location when you pick up the vehicle or contact them directly during your trip. You will find a phone number on the rental agreement you signed at pickup.

Booked for Jeep Compass or similar. Originally they brought out another vechile, which wasn't big enough. I was told the Jeep Compass wasn't in the price range i'd paid for! Ended up with a citreon C5 Aircross which was very good. Had to buy their £270 insurance (even though i'd bought insurance with QEEQ). as they required a £3000 deposit if i didn't and £3000 sent my credit card into fraud alert after so many transactions in a short space of time.(I think they had me use my card 4 or 5 times in 2 minutes, which i'm sure is a ploy to set alarm bells at the bank). Upshot was, the insurance i bought from QEEQ was redundant.

After waiting in a queue at the counter, they announce additional fees ("premium location' fee, minimum license requirement, e-toll device hire). On top of that, they are trying to push very hard for their overpriced insurance. The vehicle I booked (an Audi Q2) changed to a Wolksvagen Touran (not the same category), and when I asked for time to think, I finally ended up with a Renault Captur. On the positive side, I must say that the deposit charge was returned to me the next day after I dropped it off.

The service was quite good.
Originally booked a compact car, but was suddenly given a large SUV and told there were no smaller cars available. After searching for a while, found a smaller SUV. For drivers who have never driven an SUV, this is really difficult and makes driving very stressful. It would be better if there were enough cars of the same category available for replacement. Not all customers want a larger car upgrade.

The counter only checked the document issued by QEEQ, ignoring my notarized Hague Apostille. Europcar's system is mediocre; the address, phone number, and email all need to be handwritten. After explaining that I had purchased all the insurance before departure, the counter did not push additional insurance, which is a good practice among major car rental companies nowadays.

Shouqi Car Rental actually partners with a European rental company. The T1 terminal at Lisbon Airport has a whole building dedicated to various car rental companies, making it easy to find the pickup location. However, returning the car can be confusing. The rental office is just to the right after exiting customs at T1. Note that the vehicle inspection process in Portugal is very thorough. Once you inform the staff that you've purchased full insurance, they won't try to sell you additional coverage.

They were running a promotion, so the price was very cheap. The car was great, but charging was very troublesome. You can't use a credit card; you have to download an app. This wasn't informed in advance, wasting a lot of time.

I chose the Toyota Corolla Hybrid because I knew fuel prices in Europe are high at 14 yuan per liter, and this car uses only 5 liters per 100 kilometers. I had rented this car before and was familiar with it. Upon reaching the store, after confirming the contract and paying the deposit, the staff informed me that they didn't have this model available. Instead, they offered me a large diesel car, which I refused. They told me that they don't have any Toyota cars at all. I asked why they made me sign the contract and charged me, only to give me a Hyundai Jeep with a 2.0-liter engine, which I didn't want. For me and my spouse, a 1.6-liter car is more than enough. Larger engines consume more fuel, and parking spaces in Europe are small. If it weren't for the hybrid, I wouldn't have considered this rental company. I wanted to cancel the order. After calling the rental company, they told me that the Jeep was also a hybrid and that they had no other cars available. I insisted that a comparable car should be hybrid-to-hybrid, same engine size. This company was terrible. The staff processing the rental left us at the counter and went to eat as soon as it hit 6 PM. Later, I had to confirm with the store manager and the rental company that the Jeep was indeed a hybrid, and I had no choice but to accept it. Not buying insurance required a 2600-euro deposit. Returning the car was quick; they had separate counters and staff for rental and return, which was quite efficient. After getting the return confirmation, I asked about the 2600-euro deposit. They said it would be refunded immediately, but I guess it will take 30 days.

I refused, and they said they did not have any Toyota cars at all. I asked why they had me sign the contract and deducted my payment if they didn’t have the car. They finally gave me a Hyundai SUV with a 2.0-liter engine, which I didn't want as a 1.6-liter is sufficient for my wife and me. The larger engine consumed more fuel, and parking spaces in Europe are small. If not for booking a hybrid, I wouldn’t have considered this company. I wanted to cancel the order but was told by the rental platform that the SUV was also a hybrid, and they had no other cars available. I argued that hybrids should be matched with hybrids and engine capacity should be similar. The staff handling my rental was more interested in getting off work at 6 PM and left us at the counter when it was time for their dinner break. Eventually, I confirmed with the store manager and the rental platform that the SUV was a hybrid, and I had no choice but to accept it. The deposit was 2600 EUR if no insurance was bought. Returning the car was quick, and the return process was managed by different staff at a separate counter. The process was reasonable. After issuing a return receipt, I asked when the 2600 EUR deposit would be refunded. They said immediately, but I guessed it would take about 30 days.
