Since it was in Norway and I do not understand Norwegian, the car rental company did not clarify the charges, mistakenly leading me to purchase insurance even though I had already bought it on the QEEQ platform.
The car I received was not as promised. Despite the rental agent's claim that the car I initially wanted was no longer available at this location (then why even advertise it?), I was given a vehicle with a smaller trunk. I spent a frustrating 90 minutes arguing just to get a replacement that matched the trunk size of my original reservation. However, the car itself was good
This is a scam company. Both times, there were already many scratches on the car, but they blamed me and charged me over 6000 RMB, which just matched the insurance deductible. Even though I had a clear video showing the scratches were already there, they didn't care. Communication was impossible. Don't be tempted by low prices, rent from Budget or Avis. I will fight them to the end, even going to court if necessary. This has wasted half a month of my time! It's outrageous! After returning to my country, the local staff wouldn't answer my calls or emails. They put a pre-authorization hold of several hundred dollars, but they have the power to overcharge your card!
Scam company! Twice, they blamed existing scratches on me and charged me over 6000 RMB conveniently matching the insurance deductible. Even with clear videos showing the scratches were already there, they ignored it. Don't be tempted by cheap prices; rent from Budget or Avis. I'll fight them to the end and sue them. This hassle has already wasted half a month of my time! It's outrageous! The local staff wouldn't answer calls or emails, and although they're only supposed to hold a few hundred dollars, they have the power to overcharge your card!
The rental service is right at the airport entrance, making it very convenient to pick up the car. All vehicles have electronic tags, and the city entry fee is directly deducted.
Choosing, booking, and picking up the car was very convenient and quick. The Toyota Yaris from Budget was a new car with just over 600 kilometers, and we drove it for 2100 kilometers over a 13-day rental period. The fuel consumption was about 4 liters per 100 kilometers, with fuel prices in Norway around 14 NOK per liter. This car was perfect for two people, especially for Norway's mountainous roads like the Eagle Road, Trollstigen, and the Atlantic Road. We give QEEQ and Budget a five-star rating.
In addition to credit and debit cards, you can now pay for online car rentals with cryptocurrency! Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) are accepted. Curious about how long a Bitcoin transaction takes or how to pay with Bitcoin? Read our FAQs for more details.
