Despite not being able to rent the car as my form of credit card was not accepted - the Alamo Staff were great - and did say i wasn't the first and last to be effected.

There are many customers renting cars. If you know how to use the self-service machine, you almost don't need to wait in line. I rented a Nissan Altima, which has average condition with over 30,000 miles on it. The car has a noticeable alignment issue and hasn't been well-maintained.
The 24-hour service was excellent, the staff at pickup were very friendly and attentive, the car was in good condition, new and got a free upgrade, returning the car was easy, there was a gas station nearby, overall a great experience!
