The booking page indicated free cancellation, but when plans changed and I needed to cancel, I was informed there were conditions. Why not clearly state the cancellation policy when booking?

When I booked, they said all customers could receive a Suburban. However, at pickup, the customer service said there were none left and gave me a GMC Yukon XL. In the parking lot, I noticed a ready-to-go Suburban parked diagonally opposite. I used my US driver's license and phone customer service for online pickup. So initially, the upselling services weren't too excessive. Still, not getting the car I wanted felt like a rip-off.

Hertz is a reputable large car rental company, the procedures are simple, pick-up and drop-off are convenient, and they have a good reputation. Recommended.

They tried to sell insurance when renting the car, but luckily QEEQ alerted me.
