The service was acceptable, but the response was very slow. I suspected that I had left something in the car, so I went to the rental office on the day of return to search for it. They told me the car was being cleaned, took my phone number, and said they would get back to me. It's been six or seven days with no response, which is frustrating.
This Budget company is deceitful. It's not my first time renting a car in the US. Other rental companies always ask if you need additional services and highlight the final charges, requiring a customer's signature. At this company, I explicitly told the front desk I had pre-paid and didn't need additional insurance or fuel services. The staff member ignored my request, continued writing, and asked for my signature without mentioning extra charges. After picking up the car, I discovered the additional services were added, doubling my original payment, which made renting this cheap Toyota Yaris equivalent to about 400 RMB. With this amount, I could have rented a BMW from another company. The service was also terrible as the staff was unhelpful and clueless.
