The local Thrifty rental company aggressively upsells insurance. The process took two hours, and if your English isn't good, you might easily get scammed.

The customer service was very good, and there were a lot of vehicle options. The entire rental process was completed in less than ten minutes.

The upselling was terrible! When I refused to buy the insurance, their attitude immediately became very rude. They sarcastically asked, 'For just $15, you're willing to take on all that risk? Can't spare $15?' When that didn't work, they tried to sell me an electronic toll device, falsely claiming that many roads couldn't be accessed without it. I didn't buy it, and drove from Los Angeles to San Francisco without encountering a single toll. Even the Golden Gate Bridge toll can be paid later. It's despicable to resort to deception and intimidation just to sell a $12 per day device. And they have an anti-upselling badge? This is the worst upselling tactic I have ever seen.

After landing late at night, I had to wait in line for an hour and a half. The staff were extremely inefficient. An extra 300 dollars were charged after returning the car.
