On the first day, the service attitude was terrible and wasted 3 hours of our time. They initially said an international driving permit was required and that a Chinese driving license was not acceptable. After consulting with the manager and checking the documents, they said it could be done but that personal third-party insurance was required, and the insurance documents needed to be provided! It was an unreasonable demand! Fortunately, we had a temporary green card, which allowed us to proceed. In all my years of renting cars, this was the first time encountering such an unreasonable demand! It took from 11:00 PM until 2:30 AM the next day to complete the process!
it was quite disappoint that the car supplied was a Tahoe, not a Yukon as ordered. I know this is simular as stated. but they we were told Thrifty don't even offer a Tahoe. so why even display they car for hire if not even available.
also car was supplied to us quite dirty on the inside. we had to stop and clear the side windows as the passages in the rear couldn't see out of the windows.
